Just been on a trip - took fruit (fresh and dried) and nuts and bought more along the way
In restaurants, stuck to protein and veg and fruit mostly - left all starches alone - no rice, pasta, potatoes, but that's cos I'm gluten intolerant and other things too - but it saves lots of bloating!
I was very careful about portion control!!! I ate at regular intervals, and if we didn't stop for lunch I had my nuts/fruits to keep me going. I also don't add sugar to anything and read the ingredients on all packets!
