My October Totals:

Walking/Jogging - 22.8 miles
bicycle riding - 65 miles
elliptical time - 351 minutes (about 23.5 miles)

Total mileage: 111.3

Not near what I'd like to have done, but I lost 2 days while waiting for my daughter to give birth (I have a new baby grand-daughter btw)
and the days getting dark so early is really killing me!! I live in a rural area, no lights so can't really jog, walk or bike ride much past 6:30pm! With work & dinner & driving kids around it doesn't leave much daylight time left.... I spent WAY too much time on that elliptical this past month. I am NOT looking forward to the time change this weekend as I'll have even less daylight!

I am trying to keep up with how much I ride/walk/skate, so here it goes. Today I rode about 32.5 miles and walked 1/2 a mile. So total for today was 33 miles.

Not going to even come close to my goal I fear. Between my taper week before the race and my slacker week after the race - but I will push it this last week to get in each and every mile I possible can squeeze in.

October Goal: 350++++ Miles

10/1: 3 mile run, 3 mile Walk, 3 mile Ell. = 9 miles
10/2: 4 mile run, 3 mile Ell., 3 mile row = 19 miles
10/3: 3 miles run, 3 mile Ell., 3 mile walk = 28miles

10/6: 4 mile run, 8 mile cycle = 48 miles
