My Challenge Month--1000 miles

12/1--20 miles AM 20 miles PM--40 miles
12/2--20 miles AM 20 miles PM--40 miles

The AM miles are the most difficult for me this week
because of the early morning cold. Ridding my stationary
bike out in the back yard at 4:30 AM. May just have to go to the gym.
I'm getting to be such a whimp.

Was way too cold these past few days and I just couldn't
continue this morning. I was bundled up and still felt I was
peddling in shorts and a tee shirt. Will try going to the gym early in the
morning and then late at night. Will see how this routine works and
if my wife can go along with it.

12/6--0 miles AM 20 miles PM--20 miles
12/7--0 miles AM 20 miles PM--20 miles

Fighting a chest cold, if I can hold my own till the weekend.
I should be able to get back to Am and PM rides.
Total so far is 220 miles for 7 days, average is about 31 miles, still in the game.
Lots of soup and hot tea, should be better by Friday.

So far I have a total of 870 miles. If I do 20 miles for the last 4 days then I’ll end up with 950 miles. It was a good try but I’m short and the end. Over all I feel good but I feel tired a lot and but I’m not sure if it is from the bike riding or the stress from my job. I think it is the later.

Especially around the Holidays, I know there are days I'll be gone and unable to ride - trying to get a little extra in on those days I'm home. At least I have the advantage of being a post-menopausal woman - riding in sports bra and shorts, I'm still pouring sweat when I bike.

If you do 13.5 miles on the bike for 30 days you will break the 400 mile barrier.
You can do this, just keep the focus on 13.5 miles each time you ride.

My Challenge Month

12/1--20 miles AM 20 miles PM--40 miles

The AM miles are the most difficult for me this week
because of the early morning cold. Ridding my stationary
bike out in the back yard at 4:30 AM. May just have to go to the gym.
I'm getting to be such a whimp.

Was way too cold these past few days and I just couldn't
continue this morning. I was bundled up and still felt I was
peddling in shorts and a tee shirt. Will try going to the gym early in the
morning and then late at night. Will see how this routine works and
if my wife can go along with it.

12/6--0 miles AM 20 miles PM--20 miles
12/7--0 miles AM 20 miles PM--20 miles

Fighting a chest cold, if I can hold my own till the weekend.
I should be able to get back to Am and PM rides.
Total so far is 220 miles for 7 days, average is about 31 miles, still in the game.
Lots of soup and hot tea, should be better by Friday.
