Congrats 1LBATATIME on heading our leader board this month it was a close one. Welcome back to those who have rejoined us and welcome to the newcomers, December was a good month for new team members signing up. 77,115.41 miles in 12 months is no mean achievement and we all deserve to pat ourselves on the back for a job well done. December was a really bad month for me Lost my mojo somewhere & then had minor surgery after Christmas which caused some downtime for me- 13 days in the month of December I did NOTHING!!! Thats more double or triple the lazy days of every other month this year

Well I have not been around since....well October really, Sorry guys.
I broke the big 200 barrier, thinking I was in maintenence and the rest of my obesity would just melt away with my new lifestyle change on its own. I thought I no longer needed to read, breath, post, and live on spark. I eventually stopped logging in completely. Well after Christmas...Im back up to 225.
Seemed to take me a whole year to loose those last 25 pounds. I swear to any who witness that I will again break 200 and it will only take a few months. I am still within my new lifestyle....but acourding to BMR Calories in and Calories out....I still have more small smarter choice substitutions to make and then make habit and part of my lifestyle.
I have learned that I cannot STOP making smarter choice substitutions in any area...or I stagnate and backslide. As a human being, we must always strive to better ourselves and keep our efforts balanced. I guess SparkPeople is now to me like Church is to others.

I had the most amazing run this morning across the Sydney Harbour Bridge at sunrise and then home by the Sydney Opera House.....life doesn't get much better than this!!! I think I could run for ever.
