Does anyone know if there is a weight limit on the board thing you stand on?

Wii Fit sounds interesting & so does Wii itself.

I like the sound of the heavyduty handlebarred mini-trampoline too.

It could be fun for me & burn up some of my son's excess energy.

Smile...it's bound to brighten someone else's day!
Everywhere we go we should see the beauty that is there, even in the dreariest places we may see a star at night, the sun during the day, a tiny little plant growing, hear a bird singing, or maybe even see a breathtaking sight such as snow on a mountain or a stream full of life. We all should take a second to pay attention to these wonderful things.

I have a Wii and bought my Wii Fit almost 3 weeks ago. It took me a little while to get on it but now I have been doing it for 2 weeks. Sometimes I miss a day or 2 but I love doing it. My kids do it too. I have lost 5 lbs so far and hope it will be more. This is something my whole family can do (one at a time of course).

Hi all. I haven't posted in quite sometime, but I had to reply to this. I have a Wii and as an adult I just love it. It comes with one remote and the Wii Play game, for 150 bucks it is by far the best gaming value. I have been using the boxing game included in Wii Play for some really entertaining cardio. It really gets you going :)
The Wii Fit is 90 dollars. It records your daily BMI and has many exercises to choose from, and includes warm ups and cool downs. I haven't yet bought one, but have seen it in action. I should have one in about a month and will be happy to let you know what I think at that point. I will say that if you aren't looking for perfect graphics but a fun and entertaining way to exercise, then this may be just what your looking for :)

i guess ill have to settle for an exercise bike for a while, i will look into the wii fit . i want to know more about it. i know that to even use the wii you have to physically go thru the movements to play the games. this is getting more interesting by the minute.

I saw an article in the paper not too long ago and I tried to get the family to chip in to get one for my father-in-law for Father's Day.

http://www.newsobserver.com/news/story/1026990.html

If this can stimulate seniors I wonder what the Wii Fit would do for us.emoticon

My birthday is coming up soon. I was thinking of suggesting gift cards. Then I could ask for them again at Christmas and possibly get a Wii for myself.

It certainly doesn't take up space like excerise equiptment does.

I got my DH to get me one of those rebounders, AKA min-trampoline, for Mother's Day. He wouldn't spend the money on the better one saying that he could make a handlebar for alot less. ( But show him a new fising rod, tool or rifle. GRRRrr. MEN! LOL )

I opened the box very carefully, assembled it and played on it for a few days. I realised that I needed the handlebar because my balance isn't what it used to be since I hurt my back.
My DH promised he would make me the handlebar like they have on the better version. But he didn't. So I packed it back up, returned it and bought the URBAN REBOUNDER for myself.

This one is a MUCH better quality! It's heavy duty like you'd find in a gym.

I could only do it for a few minutes at a time at first. But it's getting easier now. I like it.

My 4 year old granddaughter just loves the thing. It sure uses up alot of her excess energy.

They sound like a good cardio workout but I've never used one.

Does anyone have one? How do you like it?
