I started here last February and I still have problems, too. But the more time I am able to spend at the site the better I am getting. I have many of the same issues as you physically. Don't get around very well(walking) I get most of my exercise a couple times a week at the 'Y' walking in the pool. I DO have insurance coverage, (thank God for my hubby's 20 year stint with Uncle sams Navy). I am 61, and have been insulin dependent for 42 years. Send me a note if you wanna talk. OH & drink LOTS of water, and just have fun...DON"T make it 'just another chore'.

Have you signed in as a diabetic so you have the diabetic tracker. It helps you to know how many calories, Carbs, Fat and Protein you get every day. Tracking you food id the best way to start so set up your tracker.
To find friends you can search the many teams we have here. There are teams with Diabetics and teams with mobility issues.
I am 68 years young and it was difficult for me too i had never used a computer. On your MY TRACKERS there is a search page it says web or SPARK. I used that to get about. Questions like. Setting up DIABETES tracker. FIND SPARK TEAMS FIND CHAIR EXERCISES ( great exercises for people with mobility issues)

Very new to this site finding it hard to move around post and find new friends or support because i have literaly none type 2 diabetic alone with mobility issues my body hurts badly I am sickly in other areas too no health insurance for constant monitoring until dec or jan but i am not without insuline or a way to check my sugar those 2 i do have lol was interesed on lori snows story on utube but i cant find her here either havent found a way to search for specific people either anyways im here tryen to check the site out
