Well, hi Donna. That's a loaded question! :)

You came in to our post area where any of us come to talk about anything that is on our mind. The topic you came in under happens to be the newest of our weekly challenges, mind over body". If you were to scroll down to the very first entry here (the last page of entries), you'll see that Joette had explained the upcoming challenge and then asked for feedback. A good portion of the rest of this thread is showing all the positive input we've had so far for it. If you want to follow this challenge, you can go over to the Team's main page and scroll down to the challenge area and find the one entitled, "Mind Over Body" for more info.

If, however, you would rather browse through the other threads within this general discussion area, just go back to the main page for the team and check out the various topic names.

Hi Donna! Welcome :)

This team focuses on challenges that change regularly. We try to have something that changes every week. We also have a monthly fitness minutes challenge. You can find the challenges in the "challenges and tracking" forum.

We try to make all of our challenges self defining. So everyone can participate at whatever level you are ready for.

We have special challenges like the "mind over body" which the intro was posted yesterday. This challenge is getting "advertising" before it starts. I anticipate it being one that will go 2-4 weeks. This is one of our special challenges. A new segment will be posted every few days or do depending on the task we are working on. I will create a new thread for each segment. I will be trying to keep it linked together so it doesn't get confusing.

You are never late. Jump in anytime!

We also are really involved in the conversation and support for each other. We have a great group of fun, active and supportive team members.

Since I'm pretty new to this group, I'm very excited you're doing the mind/body challenge as I've already started doing it on my own! I'm glad it's not such a "physical" challenge so I can participate more.

As for structure, if ea. challenge had their own topic, can you put sub-topics under those? If you need more space, can you delete old challenges from last year or something? If no one's posted for quite some time, they probably never will and won't miss it.

Just some thoughts! I'll watch for the Mind/Body Challenge section to come up. I've just finished step 4!!!

I am working on creating the challenge that I announced earlier this week. "Mind Over Body". This challenge will take several days to complete. The section is broken down into several action to work through.

I am trying to decide how the best way is to post it here so people don't get lost.

I can do it like I did the "Brain Challenge" Where I created a new topic for each section.
OR
I can create one challenge and just build and add to it.

There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods.

I would LOVE some suggestions and input for this next challenge.
