Hello and welcome to our team. Hey hang in there. I know exactly what you mean. One of my SP friends told me to try taking a relaxing bath, a hot cup of tea and listening to smooth music before going to sleep and it is working so far for me.

I have tried just about everything so far the only thing that helps a bit is to put on my Golden Girls DVD's and have them playing while i lay there....
I think it is just stress my mind is wandering heavily....bills, money, trying to find a job.....I can never turn my mind off and then my anxiety starts.....its a horrible state I just do NOT want to resort to any kind of medications....
sleepy time tea....doesn't work if anything I am wide awake after it....
I am sure things will turn around in the meantime just got to ride with it

Have you tried setting a certain time to go to bed and get up each day. It is recommended that it be a time that you can stick with both during the week and on the weekend. About an hour before your set bed time try taking a warm, soothing bath; turn off the computer and the television and read while you sip a cup of herbal tea or warm milk. The important thing is to develop some type of ritual that lets your body and mind know that it is time to wind down. I hope things improve for you soon.
