I have a Fitbit Charge 2, which monitors my sleep, and the sleep graph is easy to read, but I don't know how much deep sleep I need. Most of my sleep is light sleep. It shows bits of being awake--not aware of any of that. I felt like I had a decent night's sleep compared with most nights.

Later: I did find three articles on sleep stages and their importance. Everyone is different and each night is different. They did recommend waking up at the same time--had to do with Circadian Rhythm. The final answer on a good night's sleep is how I feel in the morning--rested and refreshed?? If yes, I had a good night's sleep. By the way, the sleep graph is pretty--whoever designed it was an artist in my opinion. It is pleasant to see. Hugs.

5.5 hours of light, frequently interrupted sleep. The new medicine finally arrived today and I try it the first time tonight. I sure hope it works. It is the same thing I have been taking--for restless leg syndrome--but it is long acting.

Thanks, I wondered about that. Probably it is a good thing that I do not any kind of sleep monitor as with my restless leg problem I have been informed that I do a fair amount of jerking around all night even with medicines and I don't think I need to know any more about it!!!

You can see where in cycle but only estimate the time. It use to allow you to rollover your sleep period and see the time.

Went to bed shortly after tracker alarm went off at 9:00 and slept straight through until the 7:00 alarm wakened me. That was 8:47 hrs! Racked up 13,113 steps yesterday.

Most helpful book, "Sleep," by Nick Littlehales, sleep trainer to professional sports teams in England.

6 hours in bed with so much dreaming that either I was actually awake all night or in a non-restful dream repetition sequence. Late yesterday I learned that a friend that used to teach with me for many, many years had passed. It was surprising and I kept remembering (or dreaming about)her as she was when I knew her--happy, lively, full of stories and questions, and always helpful to her students as well as a good mother and dependable teacher. Today I think I dozed off several times when driving Sue on an outing. Later I had Georgia drive me to get groceries and to the P.O. as was afraid I would get sleepy again.

It took from 10:30 last night to 12:25 this afternoon to get in 9:53 hrs of sleep in four attempts. Can't say that I feel rested.

I am grateful that my CPAP is old enough that it does not record hours of sleep in a way I could check it. When I have it checked once a year, it always says I sleep less than I think I do. I think I count time slept from when I get into bed until I get up to look at the clock!!!!

4.5 with a wake up. My fitbit says I average 3.4 hours steady sleep, but a lot of times it doesn't even record it :-((

Must be nice to live in such a warm climate!
Lousy sleep, so broken, think I may have been lucky to get 2 or 3 hours. Feet wouldn't quiet.

No, but I was tested for vit. B6 and found to be way, way too high. I could not be deficient in vit. D as I take it with calcium and am in the sun enough to be quite tan most of the year.

4 hrs two wake ups. Where you ever tested for mineral deficiencies? This is the first time our health care system is allowing Vitamin D testing and I have read that a lot of people are deficient in it and other minerals needed to help reduce these symptoms.
