I'm a 27 year old runner, and experience some moderate acid reflux pretty much every day (even on rest days). I take Prilosec every day for it and most of the time, that makes it feel better. However, on occasion when I run, I have some very bad reflux that causes discomfort when I run, since the reflux makes me cough and interrupts my run.
I am going to see a GP or gastroenterologist about this at some point, so I'm not looking for medical advice, but I'm just curious if there are other runners in the forum who have experienced the same issue while running and any tips that might have worked for you?
