Ever since I was intubated I got acid reflux. I thought I was breathing in sulfur from my stomach. My Dr prescribed Prisolec (Not sure if I spelled it correctly) , but it did nothing for me. I found more relief by NOT eating after 5 pm and waiting at least 2 hours before going to bed after taking any medication or eating anything. I found having NOTHING in my stomach causes less gas and irritation; and I did not wake up with an acid stomach or a stuffed nose! (I Wish I knew this 16 years sooner!) What helps is taking Ginger and cayenne pepper after I ate after meal time. Ginger cause the stomach to stop feeling queasy and it calms down the acid. I also found that sleeping on my stomach side (left side) I can get at least 4 hours of sleep without waking up, but I need to make sure my head is above my stomach. I use one of those curved pillows. Also drinking apple vinegar in the morning which helps me by making my stomach more acid, for I have read that having acid in the stomach will help digest food better and all day. Also found that as you age your body produces less enzymes and so I take the Multi-enzymes with meals. I also learned for me, drinking less milk and having no yogurt helps me. I learned its really unnatural for a human to consume animal milk. I found each time I had milk or dairy, that I had more upset stomach aches. Milk also creates germs inside the body that are not natural to humans. and if you are lactose intolerant you have a greater chance of having acid reflux. I really blame the intubation casued me to get reflux, becasue I ahd no rpoblems before they intubated me (twice) It injures the muscles in the throat which causes muscles spasms in the throat and its why many get reflux! (Just my two cents) susana.

My favorite verse is Hebrews 13:5
"He (G*D) said to me, I will never leave thee nor forsake me"
Also found in many other books: Joshua 1: and Matthew and in the words of Jesus my Messiah!
I also love reading Sauls-Pauls Roman road!
Favorite verse in the New Testament is :Romans 8:1."There is therefore, NOW, no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit! My desire!
My favorites books are By J. Meyers and Charles C
