Normal weekday routine -- 20 minutes of yoga to start the day, 10 minutes of cardio, today on the recumbent bike, then 30 minutes of strength training. Continuing on my program of short sets (2 sets of 15 reps) which gets me to more machines, etc.

Over the weekend I was out in the yard doing spring cleaning, first mow, trim sea grass, etc. Logged over 53,000 steps! Did not run this weekend, but I think the 53,000 steps was a nice cross training endeavor!

Sunday was a 3 mile tempo run sandwiched in a 6 mile run. Did not hit my time range on the tempo. My increased volume is likely affecting this, but right now, I am targeting my base over speed training anyhow.

Regarding the calories. I'm guessing that calculator is based on biking outdoors. So, a few things to consider:
1) how accurate is the mileage calculation on the stationary bike. My understanding is that this can vary considerably.
2) Biking outdoors has the added variables of wind resistance and hills. My hunch would be that indoors would be a lower effort.
3) The linked calculator is tied to the measurements at increments of 1mph. Your actual speed was therefore in between 13 and 14 mph. If you adjust for that, I get 877 as the calorie burn.

Having considered all of these variables, I would go with the 610. Your actual burn is likely between 610 and 877 as the 610 does not factor weight as you pointed out. But the 610 is the conservative number and gives you some cushion. Why a cushion? The calories consumed is a hard number to pin down as we humans tend to underestimate our portion sizes consumed. So, my tendency is to go with the low end of the calorie burn to offset that.

Did 13.82 miles on stationary bike in 60 minutes today. According to this site I burned 914 calories. caloriesburnedhq.com/calories-burned-bikin

The stationary bike shows 610, but does not take into account weight. Which the site does, so I am incline to go with with the site's number.

Can't figure out how the link below got in this post. I am interested in mindfulness techniques (techniques to quiet the mind, very helpful in aerobic exercise I find ) and in my research I found this headspace app site linked below (this is not an advertisement of any sort for the app) I just don't know how that link below got there.

Torqued my back yesterday working on one of our rentals. Planned 8.1 mile run today out the window. Couldn't even do pushups this morning. Walking like an old man (which I am according to my kids...). So no, I did not run, bike, swim or weight train today. Maybe tomorrow.
