Ok, I am offically done taking names for the questionnaire. I have been approved to send it out so once I get home from class I will be sending it out to you all tonight or tomorrow. Hopefully tonight, depending on what type of day my 2 year had at daycare.
Thanks Mike, I really appreciate it. I will be meeting with my instructor today to give him an idea of how many people are interested, get his signature on the review board's application and once the review board gives me an answer, I will email the questionnaire out to you.
Oh yes Mike, everyone's input is important. Even if you were skinny as a light pole. This is going to end up being a comparison study. I will be able to see how many skinny people are now overweight, how many were over weight as kids, and how many were healthy and are now overweight.
Hi all, I posted this in other team pages but didn't want to exclude your age group.
I'm working on my research project and was wondering if any of you would be willing to help me with it. My research is on childhood obesity The purpose of the study is to see if there is a connection between childhood and adulthood obesity. Personally, I was overweight as a child and now, I'm considered obese. The study will be strictly confidential and it's in the form of a questionnaire which would be emailed to you. I will not need names or anything like that as this is an anonymous questionnaire. Right now I'm trying to get a feel for how many people would be interested in participating. Let me know if you are interested and if so, once everything has been approved, I will let you know if it's a go.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions please pm me.
P.S. you didn't have to be overweight as a child to participate.
