Maple-Pear Upside-Down Cake
i had this in my recipe binder--from 2001!!!
i had 4 ripe pears staring at me in the face this morning, wondering how to use them before they give out...and i remembered this recipe....
but i will morph this recipe into something more superiorly nutricious--ie add whole wheat flour and ground flax seed--i have been very succesful in incorporating these ingredients into cooking light baked items in lieu of white flour
