Did 2 miles in 34 minutes this afternoon and 1 mile in 17 minutes this morning plus 45 minutes of weight training and spent 2 hours cleaning my house before the real estate agent showed up to list it. I'm really really done for today LOL :) BUT 3 months ago I would have been in bed after cleaning the house. :)

I did! 1.3 miles road walk with run intervals. 21 minutes with a stop for the dog to potty. Not too shabby for this being my first week able to run in 6 weeks. Hooah

After 2 days of low motivation after work, I went out today for a walk. We are getting unseasonably cool weather for July. I had forgotten that Wednesday is Farmer's Market at the park, and I had no money with me. I suppose I could try and go back before they close, but I don't really know what I want/need. There was a stand with local honey, and that is one thing I truly enjoy.

I surely need to do something aerobic today. Did pushups yesterday, but work is wiping me out. I put in over 10,000 steps most days at work, but since it is intermittent, it really isn't aerobic. Perhaps a walk after work. I will see how hot and humid it is then.

I'm fine. When you deal with animals on a daily basis you will get bumps, bruises, bites, etc. Today I went 2 miles in 32 minutes, stopping 4 times to do a set of squats,10 reps each time. I ran a very little bit (like 50-75 feet) 4 different times. Time to start getting back to pre surgery.

It is a work day, and I should get my 10,000 steps no problem. I plan to do pushups and other strengthening exercises after work. If I don't have my 10,000 steps in, will possibly walk the hallways till my fitbit buzzes after I clock out. It is really hot and humid, and I don't really want to walk outside today.

It is early, but I will get out today to walk. Yesterday was a killer day with a 12 hr work shift in a job that I am not used to doing. I was glad I did it, as it will help me in my "real" job, but I was on my feet, walking and doing a lot of manual work, so I was tired by the end of the day. So, today, I need to get out and move my body so I don't stiffen up.

Yup. Yesterday was my daughter's dance recital and that took the whole day but I got a lot of steps in and was exhausted by the end of the night. Today I did 1.4 miles in 26 min so I'm getting stronger slowly. It still hurts to do too much or go fast. :( go to the Dr for followup Thursday so maybe I'll get clearance to add some yoga back in. I'm scared of tearing stitches.

Yes I did. First formal exercise in 6 days but 2 of those I was in the hospital. Under Dr orders to take it easy while I heal-don't want to rip out those stitches. Hard for me to take it easy. I want to be doing stuff that needs to be done and feel guilty sitting and telling others to go do when I'm not! But 1 mile in 22 minutes today and I was wiped out.

Good Afternoon :) My Dogo and I went for a 1 mile walk (plus I did 2 sets of 25 crunches, and 2 sets of 25 push ups) It took us 20 minutes to do our mile which included my fearless warrior dog hiding in the ditch because she was afraid of a tractor that went by. lol I found a web site that gives an approximate step count per mile based on a person's height. According to them I did 2,286 steps in a mile. :) Hope everybody else is having an awesome day!!!!!

Working on my push up sets now. Then I'm doing my squat sets, then when I get home, since I'm not going to the gym today (didn't bring my clothes) I'll get the kids to go for a walk with me. :) Or a jog.....

Friday we walked to the park with school-I made two 1 mile one way trips for a total of 4 miles.
Saturday my older son and I built fence-that was strength and cardio.
Sunday I drove then did some gardening.
Monday I gardened.

I believe you Kris. And that SD fire isn't helping any. I feel for you my friend. It was supposed to be only 3 miserable days. And now the weather person keeps pushing to entire week. If I'd known I'd planned my week better. Lol
I'm sneaking out for a long drive early and come back home before it gets nasty hot again. Hope everyone have a wonderful Friday and weekend. I think it's time for a hiking trip this weekend. But won't know until the weekend.

I did. Tomorrow is the end of week 2 and so far so good. Really enjoying the challenge this program is offering my body. Change is imminent...I can already feel my body getting stronger. I can stretch longer & farther than 2 weeks ago...for me that is the hard part - the cardio part is easy its the holding still part I struggle with...Flexibility...I am gonna get me some of that back.

I absolutely did! Parked on the 6th floor of a parking structure and decided to walk through and down the structure. Since I was out today, it meant having my laptop, printer, papers, etc. Sure, my briefcase has wheels and the other bag sits on top of it nicely. emoticon But it all still weighs about 25-30 pounds. PLUS I carry a large purse. So, dragging all of this stuff, I hoofed it down the 6 levels. The way down wasn't too bad--only took 9 minutes. Then after my audit was over....I hoofed it back up those 6 levels again. Half way up, my calves were burning and I swear I developed shin splints. emoticon By the 6th level, my legs were burning all the way up to my butt. I broke a sweat on the 11 minute walk up. But hey---great exercise!!!

Our weather has been pretty cold since our rain storm. And my family on the east coast is inundated with snow. Ugh...I'm so tired of the cold. Yet at the same time, I agree, it feels great to just get outside sometimes.

After my walk yesterday, I did an upper body/core routine on my stability ball. I'm so sore today.

But I've done 20 bridges using my ball this evening and I parked further away at each of the stops I've made throughout the day so I was able to get some walking in too.

I blew it today. Sorry guys. No good excuse. I promise to hit it tomorrow.

Later, after thinking about my goals awhile....I decided to do 25 minutes of one of my Leslie Sansone dvds. I'm happy that I was able to push through a lousy day diet wise (disasterous stop at Zaxby's with family for supper), and at least keep my exercise and water goals.

On the bright side, my family and I took a good look at the nutrition info for our super tasty dinner and now we aren't feeling so super anymore. We don't eat fast food very often, but I think we will make better choices next time.

I did although I was thinking the universe was against me...I wasn't ready to get up...couldn't find my exercise clothes...the darn video hung up on me not once but three times...But I hung in there and did it anyway...it woulda been so EASY to quit before I even started not to mention when the video kept freezing...

So, I haven't made the time to post my workouts but I do keep track on my calendar!
I was REALLY SICK the weekend, now just a lingering cough and sore throat.

Mon. 15min Yoga/1st time doing this, felt better once I did this.
Tues. 14min Cardio Kickboxing (am)/15min Kick Boxing and 10min D. Austin Latin Dance
Wed. REST
Thurs. 20min Treadmill and 33min on Elliptical

The Latin Dance by Denise Austin was so much fun on UTube! emoticon

Workout this evening with Fitness Blender they have an AWESOME arm workout for 9min.
Then I did a low impact for 10min with them as well. Plus 20min with Denise Austin Ultimate Fat Burn. That was really fun! emoticon
I burned 359cal.

Upper body with weights for me today - I currently have a foot injury that I have been nursing for a few weeks. Palm tree needle(s) lodged in the bottom of my foot. Epsom salt soaks seem to be helping
