Just an update, I am still just drinking water, no soda or diet iced tea. I miss them but it's not horrible.
I am really losing my mojo lately, girls. I was so excited! I don't know what changed.
I just know I have to get this under control before I give up altogether, AGAIN.

wow, isn't it amazing how different foods affect our bodies?
Now you know better.

Unrelated, really, but I read this really scary article about a big study group done recently where people who drank as little as one can per day of diet soda can have up to a 48% increase in leukemia (and other cancers) due to the benzoate in the soda, which turns into benzene, which is a toxin. I have really been addicted to diet soda, and have been drinking a lot less, but I drink a TON of Crystal Lite, which has the same ingredient. My Dad died just two years ago of leukemia. Though it is not supposed to be an inherited disease, to think that I could practically double my chances of getting it just by enjoying a beverage is petrifying!
I threw out all of my Crystal Lite. Hopefully Truvia in my coffee is still okay, and then I will drink water.

This is to remind me to stay away from grains for awhile. I had a bowl of cereal and I am now ready to fall a sleep!! I thought the cereal would provide some carbs in order to wake me up with some energy. I was so wrong!!

Yes, that darn food sure is tasty! Most of the times I binge it is for emotional reasons, though, and how the food tastes doesn't matter much, LOL.

Ohhhhhhhhh I came THISCLOSE to bingeing this afternoon but I didn't! I got home from work early and did not have a good day. It was like the trifecta of reasons to binge. I did not and I am very happy about it.

Hi, girls, hope that you are all having a good weekend so far!

I was so bummed to only lose four ounces this week, and so pissed off!
I found an article that really helped, stole it and put it on my blog for today, LOL, so now I am feeling better.

I don't know why, if I KNOW that I have "worked at" being fat for all these years, that I think that three weeks of choosing better and exercising should have me lose weight each and every day. Such wrong thinking!!

I do have video's by Tracy Riefkind for swing workouts, but I am doing a program I bought from Master SFG Geoff Neupert on mastering double kettelbell lifts called Kettlebell Strong! It is an advanced program for those using kettlebells for awhile and it is doing hybrid Olympic lifts.
