We usually have a few departmental parties.
The holiday season this year brought
Turkey Grazing Day = buffet style spread
and 2 Christmas Pizza Parties
Oh and my boss brings doughnuts once a week to "thank us" because we've worked so hard on a special project the last few weeks of December.

in my department at work, the managers buy us all a catered lunch (almost 200 people in my office building alone). my manager buys our team a catered lunch also and we have a food day where the rest of us bring in sides and such to go along with the lunch. if we want to decorate our cubicles, that's fine, up to a point. we do a secret santa gift exchange since there are like 33 of us on our team alone.

I'm not sure what we do here during the holidays since I started in March. I do see random cakes and cookies being left in the reception area though. I treat them as if they are the devil! LOL! No thanks!

Our offices decorates a lot for us. They go all out with trees with presents, and wreaths, and a big tree decorated outside. It's up to us if we want to decorate our cubes.

For all of the admin in the office (roughly 20), we have an in-house "party" catered by our
cafeteria. Last year, we each had to wrap an ornament and then we had a yankee ornament swap. We played some games too. It's not the greatest, but it's 2 hours away from our phones and our desks.

Last year, my boss got me some very nice presents, and the other 4 people I work for got me a gift card.

Hey everyone! I am really interested in finding out how you celebrate the holidays in your office. We never do much at my office, only dinner, so I am trying to change it up this year.
I will be doing 4 different activities, once a week for the 4 weeks leading to xmas, but I am not sure what the 3rd weeks activity should be.
Week 1: Decorating ornamemts for the tree.
Week 2: canned food drive
Week 3: ?????
Week 4: hot chocolate and desserts.

So what do you guys do?
