I was excited to fit very comfortably in the airline seat on our trip last month. I didn't feel squished by the people on either side of me. Yay!!

I am just glad to still be so active w/ the spine and neck condition I have ....(ankylosing spondylitis) .... I was told in my mid twenties I would be wheel-chair bound by my 40's ....... (many people w/ the awful condtion are and living w/ much pain) .......My spine completely fused itself in one column years ago)........ I stay moving every day as it alleviates much of the stiffness that goes with it.............. and noticed a breakthrough lately w/ weight! emoticon

Cardio is such a relief for my anxiety, and I never would have imagined *wanting* to do it every day.

Also, getting outside every day to see the sunset, birds, plants, flowers, animals, and coastline is something I really never thought would be such a precious part of my life!

I'm looking forward to not getting winded when climbing a couple flights of stairs. It has improved, but I still get out of breath a bit. I'm also looking forward to improved self-esteem and confidence... of which, right now, I have zip.

What is something you enjoy doing now that you could not have done before starting this journey? Or what is something you are looking forward to doing?

Running. I never thought I would enjoy doing 5K's but I love them. The people, the atmosphere, and the competition against only myself. I'm really addicted!
