My thoughts today:
I may not be rich in an earthly view,
But I am rich with the many blessing God has given
I may not have a job held in high esteem
But in heaven I am valued very highly
I may not have a large home on earth,
But in heaven, the Lord has prepared a mansion for me
I may not have all the latest gadgets
But in heaven I have everything the Lord has to offer.
This earthly life does not have to show our value according to the measuring rod of mankind because we are valued far above anything found on this world by our heavenly Father and that is what is important. Thank you, Lord, for loving me so.

I used just store boughten booklets at one point when we couldnt buy the paces. I was excited with the results of their testing, because I thought they were a couple of years behind due to me having surgery after surgery. I found out instead that they are both where they are supposed to be or ahead!

That's good news Sandy! I didn't home school either of my sons but did supplement what they were learning a lot. In the summers I used to go to an educational supply store to pick up review workbooks for them to do. It seemed to help keep them on track better, especially the youngest since he struggled with school.

Kudos to you, Sandy. I homeschooled my kids, too. My oldest son successfully got his GED a couple of years ago. My second son went to public high school and did very well. My youngest, Sarah, is in Grade 12. She is doing well, too. I'm incredibly thankful that I had the opportunity to homeschool them. I'm also thankful that we are all friends. I made lots of mistakes, but God blessed me abundantly. And that's just the tip of a very large iceberg ...

I'm here... just been busy doing some diagnostic testing with my boys. I homeschool them and they had gotten behind in their work due to all my surgeries. I found that I could test them for free online where I get their schoolwork from, so that has been their work for the week. Found out they are both ahead of what they had been doing except for my younger one is slightly behind in English.

God has been so good to me! He has given me a wonderful husband and 2 wonderful sons. He also has seen me through breast cancer and brought me out victorious! There is just so much I could say, there is not room for it all.

I see God at work every day in my workplace. (I just have to keep my priorities straight. Working as a personal trainer can take a lot of time, mentally as well as physically.) I also thank Him for my family, my online business, my home ... Most of all, I thank Him for all He has done for me. I don't deserve His mercy and grace, but I'm thankful for them every day. YES GOD HAS BEEN BLESSING US SO MUCH LATELY. LAST YEAR GOD LET US BUY THIS 2006 GT MUSTANG. HE LET US FINISH REMOLDING OUR HOUSE. MY HUSBAND STEVE IS NOW IN CHARGE WHERE HE WORKS, I HAVE A WONDERFUL FAMILY. I WOULDN'T BE ANYWHERE WITHOUT HIM, AND I GIVE HIM ALL THE PRAISE FOR EVERYTHING. THANKS GOD

My son's finger is healing quite nicely, and he is back at work.
On a lighter note ... Our two boys bought us a Nintendo Wii. I'm not much of a video game player, but we are definitely having fun with the system. We play a lot of Wii Sports, and it gives you quite a workout. (Wii bowling is like real bowling, Wii tennis like real tennis, etc.)
I praise God for a family who is there in the rough times and the fun times.
I also thank Him for brothers and sisters I've met online. God bless you all!

Yes, God is so good to the people who love Him and are filled with the joy of Him being a part of their lives.
My Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has blessed me with 2 awesome childen, 2 terrific little grandchildren and my 2 cats, I am also so grateful for His unfailing love and mercy. He is so patient.
I am also blessed too for finding SparkPeople and for the 12 pounds I've lost so far.
Thank You, Jesus for everything.

God is so awesome! I hurt my back at work this week, but I have so seen His hand throughout my recovery. 1) I didn't have to take time off work. 2) I know how to better prevent my clients from hurting their backs (better me than them). 3) I've been aware of each step of the healing process and have thanked Him all along the way. I'll do something that hurt yesterday or two days ago, and it doesn't hurt. Thank You, Lord. We can see His work in so many ways. Keep a look out, team. Bless you, all.

We are going to a Ministers Seminar soon. We didn't quite have enough money saved. My husband prayed by Faith. Two checks came in the mail. He had overpaid on some bills awhile back. Now we have enough money to go.

What a great way to enjoy today!

I've been blessed with a husband who has loved me even when I was unlovable. He is my hero and my best friend. I thank God for him every day. I've been blessed with 3 children who teach me every day what it means to be loved unconditionally.

On a physical note, I've been blessed with "warning signs" and have begun to take action.

I really love this site ... a place to proclaim what God is doing!
Happy Thanksgiving from Canada BTW ... Today's praise is for my daughter's friend who joined us for our Thanksgiving meal. We went around the table and gave one reason we were thankful. Heather said, "She was thankful to share a meal where nobody was fighting." Apparently, she locked herself in her room last Thanksgiving because of an argument at the family table.
How I thank God for a close knit family and friends with whom to share the happy times.

I have been blessed with a good husband, two wonderful children and 3 grandchildren. A great son-in-law and daughter-in-law. We all were able to go camping together and enjoy the beauty that our Lord and Savior has made. Thank You, Lord

Hello - I had surgery on my foot on the 25th of June and found out this past Friday that I had developed a blood clot. After a CT scan at the hospital, it was discovered I also had one in each lung. This is usually fatal- in fact my grandfather died from this. Because of the prayers on my behalf, I am still alive! God is so good- I feel I've been given a second chance. I am on several blood thinners and have to be very careful about getting cut and bumped. I can't put weight on my foot for 3 months because of my surgery so it's been difficult to say the least. I know God will get me through it. I am blessed!

I was on the vent 9 tiimes with conjestive heart failure last year.I was hospitalized the month of January,on the vent 3 times,had a emergency appendectomy and resperatory failure on the table where my heart stopped and my family was called because they said I wasn't going to make it.I have PTSD from 3 tours in Viet Nam,bi-polar disorder,insulin dependent diabeties and copd.I'm disabled and obese.I've never been happier.I thank God for every morning that was made especcially for me.I give thanks for my home.I pray at each meal that I've been blessed to have.I even give thanks for my 2 schreechy cocatiels..lol..I am here at Gods pleasure,for what I'm not sure.I know He knows every hair on my head and I accept whatever happens as His will for me.I am now a member of SparkPeople in various areas of recovery.I feel guided to this site and others.God gives me what I need.I wish You all the best that Life has to offer through Christ our Lord...cookie

I have also gone through two surgeries this year and God is restoreing my health daily and for that I am so thankful, I will never take my health for granted again,it has taken most of my life and illness for me to know that our bodies are the temple of God and we must do all we can to take care of them, if we don't who will. I am trying to change my eating habits it is not easy but it is not impossible, for I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. God bless.

I have been challenged physically having to have two surgeries this year. Thankfully, God was with me through it all and it is all behind me now. He has also blessed me with a new job that is incredible. My family has been very blessed. I wish others could see how having Christ in your life is so incredible.
