emoticon for the 5 lb weight loss to date! Do make sure that you do replenish your water. 8 glasses of water is recommended but it could be slightly less. As long as you are thirsty, you're allowed to drink water.

I do know something about the two or three weeks stint also. In the past, it was usually the time when I would stop also. However, when I joined Spark People (over 4 years ago) and I saw all the tools and the success stories online, I have not been able to stop! Sure, I've had periods when I would not log in my food or exercise as much, but the simple fact that I had teams that I was leading, brought me back. Keep on posting! Join other teams that will make you accountable. emoticon

Week one finished and I am down 5 pounds. Really pleased but I know a lot of this will be water weight, It is usually week 2 when I give in so next week is an important one for me

I like putting my ticker at the bottom of my messages also as it keeps on reminding me of where I was and where I'm going! Oh yes, I AM going to reach my goal.

I have seen some people, add that weight ticker on the bottom with there weight :) I have mine in pounds lost The ticker might help with accountability as well - but I am pretty new- hope the first week went well!
