Today I will get back on track....and do my best. This continues to be difficult, and I am stuck on a plateau that goes back and forth within a pound or two. As I enter my fourth month of tracking food and exercising, it does not get any easier when tempted by foods that I know are not healthy. I can do this.

....tried another SparkRecipe, this time Cyn's Mock Potato Casserole. OH...EM...GEE. If you love cauliflower you have GOT to try this!!!!!!

So far everything I've made from this site has been SO good and it's healthy!!!

Didn't do too much. I had a gas attack. Eating fresh fuji apples does not agree with me. I had a hard time thinking about what to eat. I just ate what I felt like and tracked it and I stayed on target today. That's what I like about this. It is so easy to keep track of eating if I use the nutrition tracker.

Am going to a shrimp and lobster festival. Expect to be over cal range, but am planning to make better choices. There are always better choices, and I don't have to have the most calorie-laden items. I am going to have fun and not feel guilty if I go over. I will be getting in plenty of walking though!

I listened to Spark People radio. It was interesting. I really just did it for the spark points. I enjoyed it.

I ate some good food. I really liked my green beans. I got fresh green beans at Costco. I boiled them for ten minutes. I got one cup and added 1 tsp of butter, black pepper and a roasted garlic and herb seasoning. (McCormick's Grill Mates brand)

They were so good. I don't like plain green beans that much. However, the package from Costco is so inexpensive. it was a good deal.

Overall, I'm trying to put more seasoning on my food.

Thanks for the tips! That's one thing that I absolutely LOVE - cheese! I was heartbroken when I saw how much fat was in ONE slice from the deli. Wow!

I love Cabot, so your tips will be very helpful.

CARRIEOSMAN - you can do cheese. Try these tricks. Get extra sharp and use less. Look for reduced fat cheese. Cabot makes a 75% reduced fat cheddar that's actually really good. It comes in a block, and you can easily slice off one 60 cal 1 oz block by using the marks on the package. I've found reduced fat swiss sliced cheese at my grocery store for about 80 cal per slice. Molly McButter sprinkle cheese works on some things at 5 cal per tsp. emoticon
