Sparkling Ice is really delicious. I too have difficulty staying on track especially around parties and family events, which seem to come up about weekly. I feel all positive and motivated for a few days and then I slip up and overindulge. Tomorrow's a new day and if we keep our eyes on the prize we'll start having more good days than bad days. Keep your goals in mind and you'll be successful.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

I love sparkling ice - I've bought it under another name as well - but it's kind of pricey at $1.00 or more per bottle. Tops for flavor.

The best diet soda I have had would be CHERRY COLE ZERO

It's hard when someone brings goodies around. My kids have sour patch kids right now. Every time I walked passed a bag I ate some. I told them to hide the candy

Hello Everyone,
My husband also brings junk food in to the house. He drinks a lot of soda and loves danishes. For the soda, I have been trying out different diet sodas to find the one that I like, for that time when I want the fizz. Otherwise I drink Crystal Light. I stock my cabinet with snacks which I like that are better for me.

My only obstacle is ME!

OH man.
Well you have me :)
I think that is what so great about this site. There are tons and tons of teams to try and help you stay on track.
My whole family is involved in my goals. My fiancée doesn't bring crap food into the house because I lay into him. My children exercise with me & they know how much it means to me so if they know I am slacking they will ask me repeatedly "when are you working out" "why are you eating that" "do you want us to fill up your water bottle"
I just try to make them support me. I can't do it alone. I won't stay motivated.

Yes today is a new day and I am logging today too. I am the one who is bad about having too many snacks in the house. Which I usually buy for the kids. They are not horrible snacks but my problem is portion control. I just want to be able to stick to the good habits but it is so hard when the bad habits always seem to creep back. I need someone to be on me everyday about doing better.

Hello!
I am having the same on and off again days like you. I am in this alone as my husband brings home chips and ice cream, most days I indulge :( Today is a new day and we can have a fresh start. I am definitely going to eat right because I'm tracking everything I eat today. I will exercise after work. We can keep each other motivated!!

Hello. I just joined Sparkpeople and would love to have a success story. I am having a hard time staying motivated. I was doing well for a few weeks. I was exercising and eating well. Then had some surgery and had to wait a few weeks before I could start back to the exercise and ever since then I have been struggling. Eat well one day then horrible the next. No motivation to stay on track with anything. I get really down when I don't eat right and exercise. Would like to lose 20 more pounds but would be super happy to just be able to stick to an exercise routine. I don't really have anyone to motivate me to stay on track. So there are a lot of days I feel all alone in this struggle. I have a husband who is supportive but works nights and sleeps thru the day. Also we have 3 children that take our time and attention. Just really struggling to juggle life and my energy and motivation are no where to be found. Any suggestions would be great!
