HI. I'm Marci. I started with this class but then fell off the wagon until a few days ago. I have started using the community tools, before I wasn't. And let me tell you, I have been staying on track more than ever and I am slowly developing a SP addiction. Who is super excited to jump on the scale every morning and then can't wait to write her SP Blog at the end of each day? THIS GIRL. emoticon

No worries about the extra posts, Anita. These things happen sometimes. Plus, just so you know, you cannot delete a post on SP; none of the members can. If you really post something that you do not wish to have remain, the only thing you can do is go to that original post, click on the Edit button, change or remove the text (sometimes people just replace it with an emoticon if they don't want to say anything), and then be sure to save it --only click on that save or post button once though or you'll get duplicates.

I hope that makes sense. Regardless, I am sure you will get the hang of things.

hey everyone, my name is Nicole. I have been on SP on and off for awhile. I have even had this account for awhile but restarting my program. For the last few day I have been staying on track with what I am putting into my body and exercising. My fiance and I have been hitting the gym as well.
I have done WW and saw a lot of progress but like small I gained weight on the new program. I enjoyed going to meetings but they get very expensive after awhile.

Thank you for the welcome! My daughter joined sparkpeople and told me about the success she is having and it sounded like something I should try also.

I am actually a lifetime member of WW. But when the new program came out in 2010, I quickly gained 5 lbs. and haven't been able to get that weight off yet. I am only 4' 9" tall and 5 lbs. is a whole size in clothing. So it was a lot to me.

I didn't think I could get this extra weight off, or even go below my original goal, which is what I would really like to do. But so far on sparkpeople I am eating well, my weight is coming down (slowly) and my blood pressure is down (Yay!) and it's only been a few days so far!

So I am very happy to be here!

Hi SHEENADEE, thank you very much for the email. I am just getting started and I have just ordered the book "I Choose To Lose" and a couple of other books written by Chris. It will take me a week or so to receive them, read them and then begin the program. I have agreed to join the team goal of drinking 8 glasses of water each day. Thanks again, Judith
