Glad you are looking for friends and encouragement! One of the best ways that we can stay encouraged is to encourage others. So I recommend browsing some member blogs until you find some people who motivate your or that you think you can motivate and then add them as a friend! Once you add them, you will get updates when they post things and you can follow their progress. It really is fantastic!

Hi Kaitlyn, I think this is the perfect place to get encouragement and make "friends" with people who are going through some of the same issues you are going through. I am 60, and have had trouble with my weight since I was 18 and gave birth to my daughter. If there is someplace special we should be posting to each other, I am sure someone on the Sparkpeople staff will let us know. They have all seemed so friendly so far! Good luck with your goals!!
