Today is the end of week 1 for me, and it went very well! I hit all of my goals that I laid out,(provided I follow through with a walk or hike today), and lost 2.8 pounds!

Week 1 started out slow, but ended with a BANG!
My new fitbit came in the mail and I started using it to track my steps. That made a huge difference. Today I burned over 1400 calories just in a 1 hour walk. I'm looking forward to week 2.

Week 1 went well overall. I made my step goal of 10,000 steps everyday except two. March 30 I successfully completed my first 5k walk. What I need to work on for next week is eating more fruits and veggies and drinking more water.

Didn't do that well the first week. Did get some exercise in. I had been on a 10 day vacation which was lovely but we ate out and did basically nothing for 10 days but read, go to beach or pool. It was relaxing but I gained 3 pounds. So today (2nd week) I am thinking of good foods and back to my exercise although I know it will take this whole week to lose the 3 pounds I will persevere! Here's to a good week for all!

This week was so busy for me that I didn't have time to think about challenges or what I ate or exercised. But I can do better if I think over my plan of action (now that I read the rules and such) and join in earnest April 1 to May 30! Let's do this!

hi everyone,

So far I have been exercising every day except for Sunday. I am really trying to take advantage of not working with week and my part time job.

I try to include strength twice a week. I you tube for exercise classes such as fitness blender or any other classes that come up. Sometimes I go on Sparkle too. I vary it so I do not get bored.

I am really glad that I can go to Spark People.

My week one was disappointing, I was going through some stressful situations, so I did no do very well on my diet and workouts, but I have put all that behind me, this is a new week, and I am off to a good start, I did well on my breakfast, and I want to do even better with the rest of the day.
