You need those extra calories to help your body heal, so you were right on target, with your eating! I'm delighted to see that you've made some positive changes and I'm glad that you're comfortable with your repeating Week 1 section!

Kelley106....sounds like you're well-equipped!

Week 1 was pretty good. I only had a cold for 3 days so I didn't get too far off track. I didn't stay under the calorie goal every day, but I've definitely made some positive changes! I'm going to keep on with this a few more days before I read the Week 2 section.

If you don't like the road you're walking, start paving another one!

I'm so emoticon that you're not feeling up to par! However, I'm looking at your workout, to and from work, the great choices you've made, as far as your eating and I do believe you're feeling some better! I just feel your light heartedness, as I was reading this message board! Take baby steps, if you need too, as everything will come out in the wash, as the old saying goes!

Hello! It took me a week to read the intro, the Week 1 section, and write out a plan. Today is Day 1 for me. I caught a head cold over the weekend, so I'll have to take it easy on exercise until I'm feeling better. I biked 6K to work this morning and will bike home. That burns about 145 calories each way.

I had a huge glass of orange juice this morning, which was too many calories, but it makes me feel better when I have a cold. I had grapes and a small bagel with a small amount of vegan cream spread.

For lunch, salad and a thin slice of vegan pizza leftover from last night.

Afternoon snack: more grapes and a few pretzels.

Dinner: haven't decided yet but probably a cob of corn with a kale-pasta dish (light on the pasta).

100 calories evening snack maybe a few more grapes and a rice cracker.

If you don't like the road you're walking, start paving another one!
