You will lose weight from doing this (I lost 15 lbs) but it is impossible to maintain, and you will gain back all the weight if not more. If you want to "detox" try cutting out High Fructose corn syrup or food additives. Good luck!
I did it for 5 days and ended up losing 7 pounds but as soon as i started eating i gained 10! not exactly the results i was looking for! Plus it made me very anxious all the time because you are putting so much syrup in your body that it made me jittery!
I tried this diet before as well. I have heard from certain people that it works wonders and they love it...however I can't possibly just have that concoction of the syrup, lemon juice, and cayenne pepper I believe it was? I barely remember bc I only did it for a day because I got waaay too hungry.
However, anyone know of any other good "legit" detox tricks?
I was going to try and do it but all it does is drain you of energy and make you miserable. I have friends that tried it but you rob yourself of nutrients you need and its really unhealthy. Your body detoxifies itself so there is no need to do it yourself.
