Tired today but determined to keep on track with moving forward and not giving in to temptation! Still working on portions and am doing a lot better! Hope to get there with that!

I'm having to take it a bit easier these past 4 or 5 days as my B/P has been up for some reason!
Not pushing the walking as much. But still trying to watch intake and hang on to descipline!

I try to get about 1 to 2 mile walk in daily...generally split up....morning walk is about 6/10th of a mile....dusk is about 1.3 miles. I'm trying to not get lazy & miss a day any more! I have to do this for me!
I always feel better for it! My pets sure love it too!

Being a big Sparks fan I find that since I start the day with Sparks that I am always thinking Sparks throughout the day. And joining the right teams help a lot too!
Teams where support is offered really helps. Sometimes it takes searching to find the right ones!
It's the accountability to Sparks that keeps me on track and yes, I fall off the cart but I get back on & just keep trucking!
My biggy is excercise..however, I have picked up the pace with my walking & that helps a lot! So, being human we make mistakes but being on Sparks helps me "get over it!"

Recently..

Feb 1 got motivated and by June 1 I had dropped 20 lbs.

June 15 (or so) I quit my 2nd job. Became financially disabled and ate a ton of junk food to make myself feel better and to at least have some type of food at home.

Sept. 1 I had gained back the 20 lbs.

Sept 15 ... decided I have had enough. My clothes are tight (got rid of the bigger clothes on purpose) and now I can't afford to go buy anything. Gotta kick this weight and be done with it.

Am focusing on strength training so I don't burn out on cardio. :) I worked on getting a routine in September and have October mapped out.

September shows improvements and am refocused and excited about the change.

Helps to have a gym buddy too!!! We became friends there and that helps - she calls/texts to see where I am and when I will be there. That keeps me accountable.

Hi to all. I hope everyone is doing wonderful. I have had huge set backs. I got very sick, didn't take care of myself, worked too much and too hard and got sicker. I did not exercise much and ate wrong. Kicked myself, but I am back to kick the weight now!!!
Has something like this every happened to you? What were some of the ways you re-jump started your routine??
