Thanks everyone, these sound like great ideas!

FYI - I ended up purchasing Newman's Own Light Balsamic Vinegarette for boneless pork chops. They were a huge hit! All the men ate two and the woman all wanted the marinade "recipe". I was almost embarrassed to tell them how easy it was.

I use a lot of Italian dressing for marinade on both chicken and pork. I love fruits with pork so I will mix orange juice, soy and olive oil for pork chops. Hubby loves this one

Keep on track

Soy Vay is great. I also like Good seasonings Italian - the one that comes with a cruet. That is GREAT on chicken.

If I'm unable to make my own, Newman's Own is always my choice.

I also use salad dressing frequently. I like Newman's Balsamic Vinegar for Chicken and Newman's Ginger Sesame for pork.

I like to use Wishbone House Italian with chicken. I let it marinate overnight. Have fun on your camping trip.

Hey there...

I often just use bottled dressings as a marinade - Newman's Own has a few great ones that I have used in the past.. the Italian is great... and I love the Raspberry one with chicken, or the Honey Mustard one too! YUM! I know it's not a 'marinade' but it works great - and then you also have some dressing for a salad too!

I am looking for suggestions on bottled marinades you can purchase. I am looking for a really good one for chicken breast and one for pork chops.

I tried the Mrs. Dash Zesty Garlic Herb and was not too impressed.

The reason I am looking for a bottled marinade is because we are going camping and I don't want to haul lemon juice, soy sauce, etc to make my own I want to only transport one container per.

So what have you tried that's good?

TIA!
