I don't know if this will help you, but first if you don't drink enough water, you can retain what you do drink and not lose weight. When I make it a point to drink at least 8 cups a day, now 9, I lose weight. Water also thins the blood so the plaque doesn't build up so easily and cause clots. Constipation is at it's worst if not enough water is drank. Leaning more about the benefits of water has helped
The Lord told me one morning, "Water first". If you have any kind of health problems, the first thing you want to do is drink more water. I got a filter for my faucet and that has helped me drink more too because I am not afraid of the impurities so much any more. I also pray over my water regardless.
Then there is the "living water" that if we only sipped on a little every day, we would soon become dehydrated spiritually and Heaven knows that is not a good thing. If we are to immerse ourselves daily in the word of God and we are to have a balanced life, it only stands to reason that water for our physical bodies is vital to our physical health.
Now, all that said, the way I get my water down is I fill up three tall glasses (holds three cups each) with water as soon as I get up in the morning. I immediately drink at least a cup of the water out of one glass. As mothers we are always in the kitchen and when I see it sitting on the counter I immediately drink another cup. if I know I am going to be in the living room on this computer I take one of the glass in there with me and make it a point to drink as much as possible while I am in here. Knowing that this is God's will for me helps tremendously. I had to pray too that Heavenly Father would bless me with the will to drink water. I am one who never felt thirsty. I probably mistook thirst for wanting something in my mouth like sweets.

I have a really hard time remembering/wanting to drink water. I drink maybe one cup a day if I'm not working out. Any ideas/tips on how to be better at this. Im happy with myself with my eating and exercise, just need to do better with then.
