Some raw food every day is a great bonus to your body's ability to digest foods. I love my raw fruits and vegetables! I love to find different combinations, so your tastebuds don't know what flavours are coming! Today, I had a fairly regular green salad with green leaves, finely sliced onion, red and green capsicum, celery and avocado, and decided at the last minute to use a dark cherry vinegar with some olive oil as dressing. Wow! What a delicious combination it turned out to be! I had intended to use my usual lemon juice, so was really pleased I tried the cherry vinegar!

I bought a Blendtec and I make raw fruit and veggie smoothies every day. I have noticed a big difference in my skin, sleep, energy level and outlook on life. There are so many diseases that can be reversed on a raw plant based diet.

Eating raw, juicing and having green smoothies has helped me with my fibromyalgia symptoms!
I started out top weight 245 but that was when I actually got on a scale. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost 20 years ago. Over the years I've learned that I do so much better when I eat organic foods and I haven't eaten red meat in years I have been gradually working more raw foods, vegetables and fruit into my diet. I avoid drive through resturants like the plague.
I'm not a raw foodie, but have been trying some of the daily smoothies from young and raw and you may be interested in looking at their site / facebook page as there are loads of great ideas. I was wondering if there are any raw foodies here?
I'm trying to convert and I have noticed on weeks where I'm as raw as possible (at least 80%), the weight just falls off and I feel so energetic and good... but when I fall off the raw wagon I find myself constantly tired, with indigestion, and wanting to eat eat eat. So I have decided that the raw food way is the best way for me. :)
Kinda pissed about not being a mermaid, but I am a Pisces, and that's kinda the same thing.
