I am a little confused as to how this works. But anyway, my goal is to clean up my diet. Dropping the processed foods especially sugar. Whole food eating is the strategy. Planning/preparring meals the night before will be my tool for success. I will look into some food plans on my lunch break.

Really don't understand week 1. What I thought was a link to determine calories didn't calculate anything. The other two steps are thinking and reading? I never got a welcome email which maybe explained things better?

I walk 2 miles a day, 6 to 7 days a week emoticon and I'm staying within my calorie range.

Since this is the official first day of summer, I have decided to eat lots more raw fruits and veggies emoticon emoticon

It took about 3 weeks for me to notice much of a change. It took a long time to gain the extra weight, makes sense to me it will also take time for my body to adjust to this healthier lifestyle.

I feel much better and stronger. emoticon

So this Monday I just started back exercising again - doing 30 min per day/5 days per week along with a 10 min. dog walk each night. Giving myself every friday off after long week work and then either mon or tues off from exercise. I'm starting to feel a little better after a few days. So this tracker when set up says I'll reach goal in Oct - 4 months - usually with my body takes longer to lose weight but would be great if got done in that time - Need to lose 30 lbs and get that flat tummy again.I'm trying to gradually work my way up to 8 glasses per day, hard when don't drink it too much. Most days this wk only got 4-6 glasses but better than used to. Trying to really cut down on soda so most days per week I'm mostly just drinking water.

yes it is discouraging to not lose but we all know our bodies are changing and healthier things are happening. i have lost 20 pound in 5 months. i already feel lighter, breathing better when i walk or climb a hill. i have actually been able to go outside and play with the grandkids and not have to stop every 5 minutes. just keep at it and we will ream the benefits sooner or later.

2lbs in a month is a great accomplishment! Also, don`t forget that muscle weighs more than fat. You may be losing more than the scale is telling because you`re building muscle.

I only lost 2 pounds last month. I'm not optimistic about this month, even though I'm doing the "right" things. I'll see what happens. emoticon

HOW THIS CHALLENGE WORKS
