I didn't do well for Christmas but I do have a new and improved plan for New Year's Eve. My husband and I will be spending it at home and have a menu planned already which is lite. I am planning on doing a skirt steak(turf) and shrimp cocktail(surf), with a salad and another vegetable, and champagne toast. For New Year's Day I plan on starting with a brisk walk outside and having a pork loin for dinner with a couple veggie sides.

got up early enough to go for a long walk (pedometer says over 9,000 steps already)

I am going to work out as usual. I am having a few treats over the holidays but aim to stay within my calorie ranges for those days. Losing weight at this time of the year just feels so good!!

I have a lot of stuff to do tomorrow, but I am hoping to get up early enough in the AM to go for a run or a brisk walk.

Xmas day and New Years Eva should not be a problem, time-wise. . I just need to remind myself that exercise is a priority!!

If exercise is important then it's possible to find a way to make exercise a part of every day including holidays........my plan includes getting up early to make sure there's time for exercise

Just wondering what everyone is planning on doing for these dates, goal-related. Are you planning on exercizing?
I am planning on exercizing my regular 5 days a week, including Xmas Day (but switching it from an evening workout to a morning one). My husband is very supportive.
