I read the first book and just am reading the second. How are you doing?
Just got the app today.
I can't have dairy either. I eat hard boiled eggs, sliced turkey piled with tomato and spinach leaves and a little (homemade) mayo, homemade chicken veggie soup, tuna salad with vegs and a little mayo, etc.... google, you will find lots of ideas!!!
Well, you have probably quit checking in on this thread but just in case, there is a thread where people have posted what they have eaten on the "What have you eaten today" to help with ideas. If being lactose intolerant means no yogurt etc. I would sure find that harder since I love cheese and yogurt. However, cheese is considered a fat so you just need to replace with another healthy fat such as nuts and avocados etc which comes into play on low carb days. The smoothies with almond milk would be right up your alley though.
I'm Melissa and I am about to start Chris Powell's Bod-e Challenge that he has with the company I work for. Vemma. Its basically carb cycling, but I'm having trouble finding food that I like or can eat. I'm looking for ideas for low carb and high carb foods that will be good for me. I'm lactose intolerant so milks and cheese are out of the running and I can't do seafood. I just can't stomach it. I know that sounds weird but I've never really liked seafood. Like I said I need ideas. That would work with the challenge.
