I started this group because I believe you can get healthier (and lose weight if that's something you need to do) by enjoying anything in moderation. I'm working on intuitive eating and being a bit more active. I just don't want to make any changes I can't live with for the rest of my life and being twenty-nine and having genetics on my side that might be quite the time period.
So far it's not a bad way to live. I have lost a little weight...I'm coming to terms with being a slow loser because I want to keep the weight off and know that going crazy for a little while doesn't work! I (and everyone else) inevitably gain back more than I lost. I have energy. I'm not crabby (most of the time!) There is more to my life than weight loss (aka I'm not so obsessive as to drive friends and family insane).

Time to stop trying to solve things with food (lack of included) that food won't solve. Food solves one thing: bodily hunger.
