Today I finally managed to get up in time to sneak a few minutes on the treadmill before work.
I am a terrible sleeper so this almost never happens.

I only manage to squeak in 5 minutes, but I really like getting my blood flowing first thing.
I thy not to work up a sweat because I only squeeze it in once I am pretty much ready to go and have a few minutes to spare.

I am not sure if this has much benefit aside from physiological, but 1/3 of a mile before work is still more than I usually manage. It also helps work the morning stiffness out a bit.


This is an old habit from years ago and I keep trying to make myself get up just a few minutes early so I can get it going again!

I feel like today will be a good day because for the first time in years I managed!

We went out to dinner last night to an awesome Italian place, and I had an old favorite: Steak and cheese sub. The oiliness just about made me barf afterwards. That is definitely no longer a favorite and I know I will have no problem staying on track today!

I don't want to jinx it but I think I'm going to have a great day today!
I stopped myself from indulging early this morning and just stuck to my regular, everyday, boring breakfast and morning snack. That really helped!
I planned out my meals and exercise and I don't feel ravenously hungry because I kept my carbs low this morning.

I'm going to have a great day, nutrition and fitness wise.
I am very discouraged with myself. I keep going off track on weekends and then have to work to re-lose the same weight over and over.
I've been bouncing around these same numbers for 2 weeks now! Enough!

Today is the 1st of April, time to reflect on the past month and make new goals for the new month!!

Today I am going out to dinner for my mother's 80th and my brothers 50th so it would not be realistic to thing I will make much progress on my April goal today. I know I will be fine though if I get started first thing tomorrow!!

I will eat healthy today to ensure my mood is uplifted, no caffeine in am (maybe after school), already worked out, lots of water on the agenda....I was able to catch 5 with my best friend on the phone, girls night with my Classical Conversations community gals tonight! Weighed myself for the first time in a week and I am down 2 lbs (and I hadn't even used the potty yet)!

Yes, this is going to be a good day.

I need those mini victories to start my day on a positive, good-choices kind of roll.

Starting Weight 1/1/10=252

25 pounds down=Accomplished! Yeah, baby! It's gone!
50 lbs down=Did it once, now having to do it again... :P
60 lbs down=Time for a BIG reward
70 lbs down=The knees will be sooo pleased
80 lbs down=My goal
90 lbs down=My secret goal shhhh!

Today started off kinda strange. I wasn't going to weigh myself as I was afraid that I hadn't eaten very well yesterday. I did in the end (habits are hard to break!!!) and was down a pound. This really added to my motivation for the day!! But I feel it was a bit of an escape so I have to be careful and not think I can keep getting away with things. I am so close to my goal weight and I am beginning to feel good in my clothes that I just want to lose that final few pounds and be done!! And of course start the job of maintaining !!

I am making today awesome! I am on a clean streak and also started a streak of actually tracking all my food and staying in a low range for the first time in like a year! This time I am balancing things out better so I am happy to stick to it with more confidence and am ready to see results by spring!

Today will be difficult. My son is sick so I will be home all day which will be hard. Yesterday was not a good day but I managed to avoid using food to help myself.

I brought my 9 yr old son thirty miles away to get something he had been looking for for awhile. When in the shop he started getting cheeky and told me I didn't know what I was talking about and a few more things. I took him out of the shop and refused to go back inside. It was so stressful, I thought I was losing it. And now he is sick and I feel bad again!!!

It doesn't help that I DH and I are not getting on great and I hardly see him which does not make it easy to sort. He was meant to be off on Valentines day to spend with me and the kids but ended up working when I think he should have just said no as it was a last minute thing. They could have got someone else to do it! I think he can't say no to anyone except of course his family!!

Sorry for the rant, I need to get off my backside and stop feeling sorry for myself!!

I think it will be a good day, though it is a bit all over the place. Lots of things to do. But the scale is down!!! I think I have been drinking lots of water so maybe that is it. I am also in the BLC and in that there is a weekend challenge which keeps me on track for the weekend which is my usual time to stray!!

I think it's time for a new scale.
I weighed 6 times. 301 was the lowest, 310.2 was the high!!
I'm just leaving my weight at 303.8 (where it was Jan 30) until I get a new one.

It's sunny and cold! I took my son to work early this morning and I was rewarded with a glorious sunrise! Going for a long walk this afternoon.

I have a very busy day ahead which is probably good for my eating. My meals are planned and I won't have time to sit around grazing.
Yesterday went pretty good! I didn't quite stick to my planned meals but I didn't eat junk and stayed within my ranges. I feel much better today!

CAMAEL- I've been thinking about getting a jumprope!!! What a coincidence!! What a great indoor workout!

I'm really hoping for a good day and a good week. I have some binge triggers coming up at the end of the week (upcoming social situations trigger me greater than anything else). The scale is finally moving in the right direction, so hopefully that will be motivation.

It is the start of a new week. My scale must be stuck. At least it is not going up!! I actually feel like I am getting smaller! So I am hoping the scale will move again eventually.

I am going to stay positive and keep moving. The weather is so bad here. It hasn't stopped raining in about 4 days and it is very windy as well. I do run in the rain but the wind does stop me.

I have re-discovered my skipping rope which is great. It is a good workout so I will get in some exercise even if the rain stays. I also have a stepper which is hard.

I hope you feel better today CAMAEL!! I was in your position yesterday too, but I drank some poop tea last night and feel a great deal of relief right now. I'm hoping that this will mean a drop on the scale tomorrow. I've been up too... for a long time now. Check in and let me know how you're doing!

I'm really hoping to make today a good day. I'm trying hard to eat foods that will give my gut a rest. I just feel like I've overwhelmed myself recently and I will feel so much better when I can start losing again.
Gonna take my daughters and my dog for a hike in the woods. My allergies are starting to let up a bit and it's a beautiful day. I have GOT to get out of the house. I feel like I've been in isolation for weeks! And I haven't exercised.

Back up one this morning!! I think due to the unmentionable C word. Haven't been to toilet in a few days!! Must eat lots of fruit today!

I promised my son I would bake for him for his Friday treat. I did and have eaten some but if I can stop now I won't consider it a binge! They don't make me feel good especially after I have been eating well.

Today should be good. I am down this morning and I am keeping on track and feeling better. Exercise definitely helps my mood. I actually am working on my own these days. My boss is away for a month and my co-worker is on maternity leave. It can be hard not having anyone to interact with. Added to that I am not very busy!!! But the advantage is that I have more time to Spark and exercise!!

Have a headache from a few glasses of wine last night. The relaxing effect of alcohol is only temporary. Problems are still there the following morning!!! Lesson learnt for the moment!!

Feel tired and down this morning. Hope I get out of this before ruining the weekend. I know my willpower is very low at the moment. Must try to get rid of this headache so I can get in some exercise to lift my mood!!

Thankfully the baby is out of danger. Thanks for all the good wishes. I suppose that while they get very sick very quickly they also bounce back quickly. I just worried that at 6 weeks he could go downhill fast. It is a relief to hear he is breathing on his own again.

Today I am allowing myself to be a bit more relaxed about food. I am cooking dinner for my mother and she wouldn't understand if I had something different for myself. Anyway it won't be too bad but will have potatoes and gravy and probably desert. I am not going to stress about it but do the best I can!

I have decided to have Sundays as a kind or more relaxed day food wise and be more strict during the week.

My friends baby is showing signs of improvement. Still on oxygen but doing better. So good news there. They are so small to be in hospital hooked up to equipment.

MYRTROSE - so sorry to hear about your coworker. I've had several of that happening within the past 4 months with people I grew up with or went to school with, etc. 6 in the last 4 months. Another reason to be thankful for every day I have and get healthy.

Today is a GREAT day. I did 65 min of TaeBo Foundation along with the 20 min yoga/stretching part. I'm headed to a friends for girls night out and I've brought snacks, but have eaten healthy all day and just finished chicken, broccoli/couscous so I'm not hungry. That way I won't jump in on all the snacks with the rest of the girls!

I am going to try to have a quiet day at home.
Insanely long work week. My boss called this am, left me a mystery message about a kind of emergency, but I can't get a hold of her.
I need to run a couple family members back and forth to work, but other than that I will be home with chores and napping! (hopefully...we'll see what my boss called about)
I'm going to get some bulk cooking done so my week ahead is a little easier.

My boss finally called back. My coworker of 6 years, a friend, laid down for a nap yesterday and had a massive heart attack and died in his sleep. 59 years old. Healthy, vibrant, full of life and fun. I am so blown away right now, I can't even wrap my head around it.

Hope so, am feeling much better after a very foggy post Christmas week. I now need to get exercising. Going for a run tomorrow as support for a Spark friend who is returning after an injury.
