I take one "rest" day a week. I still do some kind of light cardio or ab exercises for 10 min on my rest day however. Nothing too serious but enough to get moving and keep my 10 min exercise streak up.

I think it is usually recommended to take a day of rest at least once a week. The first week (beginners) has two days of rest and one day of rest/light cardio/cross training worked in.

I just started using your workout Nicole and let me say, I thought I would have a bead of sweat or two but by the time I was done I could hardly walk up the stairs! What's amazing is you give us a great workout but you mask the intensity with your friendliness. Well played. Very well played. :-)
As for my question, I was so excited that instead of following your "plan" I just exercised four days straight and now I'm exhausted. I can walk now (thankfully) but it wasn't until after the four days that I read your plan for light cardio and rest in between the workouts. Is 24 hours enough of a break or is that too long? I don't want to break my streak but I also don't want to faint from exhaustion. What do you recommend?
