My day was pretty good with all exercises done and eating on track. I would so love to run a half marathon. It is in my goals for next year. YAY YOU!

Wow a half marathon! I can't even fathom that at this point. I'm hoping to keep up my 5K over the winter and then maybe work up to a 10K for next fall. I also am feeling the need to go farther. Good luck on your half marathon next fall! Keep us posted :)

Today I did well--sticked to healthy choices (I've been craving and indulging in GRAPES lately). I am searching for a job right now, but in the meantime I work part-time as a dog walker, so I worked today and walked for about 4 hours total. My legs were a little sore from my 28 min run yesterday, so it was good to work them out while walking.

That is great! when I reached 5k I wanted to go further and managed a 10k and now that I am back to running I'm hoping for a half marathon next fall.

Starting week 8 of 9 of the Couch to 5K program today. Have never gotten this far when I've tried the program in the past! Really proud of my progress. I'm planning to run my first 5K Oct 27th!

I think I had a good day. Picked up groceries for the week, staying within calorie range, worked out, feeling hydrated.

For the last week, I have been getting up in the morning and setting my goals for the day. I made sure to attain those goals every day. I am proud of that fact! Doing that I have lost 2 pounds... not bad at all...
I still have about 1 month to lose as much as I can before I start treatments. I am planning on keeping those daily set goals. It seems to work

Happy October everyone! My goal for this month is to drink more water! I only managed 5 cups today, but that's a lot better than my usual 1 or 2! I had a good day overall though--stayed in my calorie range, got in some good exercise, and enjoyed watching my 2 year old cat meet our new kitten for the 1st time--they love each other!! Played all afternoon!

The yucky feeling you have from yesterday's eating will hopefully be a reminder to enjoy moderately today! emoticon That seems to be what is stopping me. I tried on a pair of jeans yesterday - I could feel the difference buttoning them up because I am not feeling stuffed from my binging the night before. It took many days for that feeling to settle but now I look forward to it in the mornings. :)

Today I'm hoping to do better than yesterday. I did nutritionally well yesterday until around 3 o'clock, afterwards I was craving sweat and salty. It was horrible. On a good note, I worked out twice to get in 60 minutes.

Yesterday wasn't exactly the best for me... I brought leftovers from home for lunch, but got talked into eating lunch at a restaurant I just can't refuse and I find it super difficult to control my portions there. The rest of the day was fine, but lunch threw me out of the range I wanted to be in, and then once I got home I was straight on the couch, despite pre-tracking the exercise I had planned for last night :\

Tonight won't be much better - at least I have my lunch from yesterday to have today, but a friend is arriving tonight from overseas to stay with us for three weeks, so we're having dinner at a pub - which means I'll be having beer. I love craft beer, but can you say empty calories?

To be honest I'm between okay and not okay, today (yesterday now)!!! I got up ate breakfast showered because I wanted to go with my nieces to gymnastics. When I was in the shower I got a call for an interview for today. So looking for a job having no job I took the interview...which I walked too and walked home....(its a 10 mins walk to there and another 10 mins to walk home)... the interview i dont know about because she just do the interviews then she hands the infromation to the one who does the hiring... So I got some excerising in only to eat alot of junk today...However Oh well its 120am here and this is a new day...Im tired but all the junk is making me feel sick tonight...Oh well if i get sick maybe it will do me good... I also got a cold and its driving me crazy!!!!

Today was a good day for me from an eating perspective... was at bottom of range and not hungry now. Plus got in 8 glasses of water - mostly before 5:00 which is good. But just too exhausted to go do my evening run. I have a long commute from the suburbs into Houston also and sometimes it's just too much. But, I have tomorrow off to spend the day with my 10 year old daughter so my plan is to get to bed soon and run in the morning before we head out for the day.

Hey, if you're having trouble doing 45 minutes a day, why not make your goal to do at least 15 minutes a day for the next week. Then increase it over time. If you set out to exercise for 15 minutes, it's a lot easier to get started then to say "oh, now I have to exercise for 45 minutes". You can go longer once you've started, but I think the most important thing when starting out is to work it into your daily routine.

I'm having trouble getting exercise into my routine as well. I've been at this for two weeks and so far I'm doing really well with keeping my diet on track (except for last weekend, but I'm back on track now). I have a very hectic schedule, I commute an hour to work (90 minutes in traffic), I work full time and I go to school at night. So it's been difficult to find time to exercise, but I'll get there. I'm feeling pretty good so far : )

That is awesome that you didn't give in! Keep it up! Myself I got off track. Then I look at how long I got I'm planning to get back on track tomorrow! Sinces it is almost time for me to go to bed lol I have too lol my plan was to walk 1170 mins a month and I'm at 230 mins only thing is my doctor says 70 mins a day of excerise is too much for me lol unless I over work on excerise the next 2 day by going 2 hours and the rest of this month 1 hour then in oct take the doc advice and go 45 mins everyday! 45 mins isn't much but I can't seem to do it! Also cutting back isn't helping cause I can do a week then the next week I'm a sugar pig lol I need to get things under control and I promise myself I will!!!!

Today I was so hungry for some reason - it came on around 9:00 AM and lasted until lunch. Unfortunately for me, I was in a four hour budget meeting that started at 8:00.... and they brought in pastries. The man across the conference room table had a huge cinnamon bun and ate the whole thing then had a blueberry muffin and fruit! The man next to me had two muffins. I am now kinda hating my male colleagues!!! Fortunately my weight conscious boss was next to me and had only fruit ... so I decided I'd follow her lead and also had some fresh fruit. Thank goodness she had nothing else because I would have followed her with my fork at the ready! The darn pastries called to me from the sideboard for another 3 hours until I finally made my escape.... but I did not give in! Lord what a long meeting... Brenda
