Hey, if you're up 2 lbs but down in %, that's awesome! I'm still below my starting weight of last Thursday (9ish days ago) but am hovering there. Was hoping for more progress this week because the first couple pounds came off in the first few days.

Well, I HAD hit my ten pound mark...until this weekend...UGH. Had a ROUGH weekend and ate whatever I felt like - junk, junk, junk! Up 2.8...now that my gluttony has been satisfied, it's back to seriousness! Congrats to everyone who lost this week, and for those who gained...WE CAN DO THIS! Happy Easter to those who celebrated!

This week I have all my healthy food and a plan for the gym. No excuses. Today it was so beautiful the Fiance and I went on a 3 mile walk. It was great to get outside and we got to chat a bit!

I was on Sparkpeople last year at this time and lost a significant amount of weight and a surprising number of inches... unfortunately, after being in my sister's wedding in May, I put all of the weight back on and then some.

weight January 1st: 210.5
weight January 8th: 204.5

(less concerned about the weight, more concerned about losing inches)

Bought a new scale this weekend and I'm still at 145. It's only been a week since I started tracking and joined SP and I didn't do my usual amount of exercising last week. And now I have a sprained elbow, so my strength training is out the window until that heals. I'll just be focusing on walking this week!

Officially down 25 lbs today! Such a great feeling! My final dress fitting is a week from today and I'm actually starting to not dread it! 3.5 weeks till the big day, trying to stay focused and keep up the weight loss momentum! Stress is starting to kick in though, so hopefully I can stay strong and turn to exercise to burn off the anxiety instead of food!... I tend to be a very emotional eater, but I'm getting better!

I didn't make the world's best choices this week with food, but not as bad as other weeks I've had. But, I do think my scale hates me, lmao. I'm up a pound this week. Oh well. On to another week!

Wow, still at my goal after 2 weeks - it's a pre-wedding miracle! I totally lost is last weekend after hosting a huge party - the fridge was PACKED with food for days. Just goes to show getting back on track without getting discouraged pays off. And I kept exercising even though I was overeating.

Down another 1.5 lbs since I last post! Changed up my diet this week to eliminate dairy and have no carbs after 2pm. It is really helping a lot!

I'm down 1 lb from last week but lost 0 inches, so I'm not too impressed with myself. However, I deserve a break because I had my bachelorette and a shower in the last 2 weekends, so I had tons of fun and it's worth the slowdown in progress. I'm back in gear this week though!

I only lost 0.4 this week, but that's okay. I'm still struggling through a lot of things, so I'll take it.

I wish I could experience what you guys are experiencing. My wedding isn't for another couple years, minus a couple months, and I'm waiting until about the year mark to go looking for dresses or looking for a pattern to have one homemade, so don't know what's going on there yet.

I'm glad your dress fitting went well! I am agonizing about mine, its in 3 weeks... Really nervous about it. It's so awesome that you feel great and have a healthy BMI... That was one of my first goals, to get my BMI into a "healthy" range. But, I'm not happy being just inside the line of healthy, I want to get down there into the middle of it, haha. My fiance reminds me that BMI isn't everything, he was in the military and he told me during training alot of the guys have to go get "obesity counseling" because their BMI's show that they are unhealthy... In reality, they are all insanely fit, muscular men that are in no way shape or form overweight! In general, I still think its a pretty good tool, despite its potential flaws :)

That's exactly what I've done, BRITTLED! Definately old clothes that didn't fit me before help. I did my dress fitting yesterday and it looked great on me, so I'm feeling better about it. Wanting to lose more is just silliness at this point, my bmi is healthy and I feel great.

Carissa81- Does your dress lace or zip/button? If it laces, you might be able to keep losing and still have your dress fit, my mom is a seamstress and swears laces were the best thing to ever happen to a wedding dress! But, I know what you mean... I have been a bad yo-yo for awhile... I remember thinking 145-ish was a "good" weight for me, but now that I'm here... I'm not happy with it at all. It helps me to put on an outfit that didn't use to fit right that I look really good in now... I can see how much better it fits, it makes me feel better about myself, and encourages me to stick with it so I don't look like I did when I was "big" again.

Haven't weighed-in in a while, but actually hit my goal last weekend. I'm a little dissapointed though - I hit my goal of 135 once before and remember thinking the same thing - "I thought I'd look thinner" Then I set a new goal to lose another 10lbs, which I also met but then it backfired.

Any thoughts on how not to let this happen again? I guess for now it doesn't matter my dress fitting is thursday and I don't think there's time for another adjustment before the wedding in October. It's so tempting though to try and lose more though. This little voice "you did it before, you can do it again!" even though I know that wasn't realistic.

Weighed in at 147.4 this morning. I've stayed pretty much the same for a whole week... Gets frustrating. But, I know the weight comes off slower the more you lose, but I feel like I still have quite a bit to lose, so it gets frustrating when my efforts don't show on the scale. I'm trying to change my mindset to focusing on measurements not weight... and that helps some. I didn't lose any weight for a week, but lost half an inch of my waist. So, one way or another, I will lose all the extra weight/size hanging on my frame. Have 5 weeks till my next dress fitting. If I don't lose enough, they will have to make the panel on the back of the dress bigger. I am going to do everything in my power to not have that happen! I just want my dress to fit right naturally, sigh... Here's to 5 weeks of intense dedication!

I have been trying to lose since October but only lost 6 lbs between Oct and January and then NOTHING from January to July and even gained a couple lbs! Then last week I planned out a plateau-busting week where I concentrated very hard on losing. I have lost 2 more lbs this week! So I hope I can keep the momentum moving!

I try to wait until Sunday to do my weekly weigh ins and record keeping... But I was so excited when I stepped on the scale today I couldn't wait! I have been stuck at 151/152 for almost 2 weeks! with only slight fluctuation and it has been extremely discouraging and frustrating... I worked extra hard this week and it finally paid off! I broke 150! Tipped the scale at 149.2 this morning! WOOHOO! I've been dieting for 13 weeks, have lost 19.6 lbs, and dropped my BMI from 27.25 to 24.08. I feel my motivation has just received a GIANT boost. Bought a new pair of running today to celebrate (I needed new ones anyhow, but its more fun to call them a treat). :)

Did my first week weigh in today and I am down 6.8 pounds- beyond happy with those results! My goal for the month was 8 pounds ...So close I can taste it! Bring on week 2 :) Nice Job Ladies , keep up the great work!

Well, I made it through the 4th of July holiday without gaining! YAY! That's always the hardest thing for me. I love making party food and fancy snacks for holidays... And I usually have to taste test them, a lot... But, I've lost 4 lbs since my last weigh in about 2 weeks ago, so I'll call that success.
