Happy 2 Month Sparkversary!

I feel like I've made enormous progress these last two months!
I posted up all my numbers on my blog today so that I could see the differences, as well as to keep myself honest.
And WOW! What a difference!
The sheer number of pounds gone is great, but I was really surprised by some of my other measurements.
I've lost 3 inches from my waist! 3 inches! I guess now I can say I actually look like I HAVE a waist! Haha!

Life is a party! So let's light some Sparklers!
I am totally going to have to buy some sparklers this Independence Day. It will happen. And pictures will be taken!

Hopefully I'll get things straightened out with the calories and start to lose again.

I've really gotten into the exercise part. It's been so many years since I've done any, I thought I wouldn't be able to do it. I've really surprised myself!

Two months! WOW! I didn't even realize it's been that long. It took me a little while to get in a groove, to do better than start out in the morning, get through lunch, then throw in the towel after dinner. BUT!!! I've made it to that place where I have a routine that makes it from getting out of bed to getting back in and takes care of me the entire time. I'm soooo pleased with my efforts!

Congrats everyone! I haven't taken any measurements since starting, but I am definitely way more conscious of what I eat now, so that's progress!

I did pretty good!
Lost 7 lbs
Lost an inch at my waist, one at my hips, and one at my thighs! Only lost 1/4 of an inch on my arms, but I'm hoping the rest will be turning to muscle!
And I can now jog for part of the neighborhood!

So I haven't really been too active on the boards yet. I was just taking the first month really get acquainted with all the trackers and such. though I do love the articles! My goal for this month is to get more active on here, and to start some sort of exercise program. With 4 young kids, a full time job, and working on my Masters, its hard to find time but I have got to figure out a way! I am already down 11 pounds since I started!!!

You're doing emoticon Cathy and Kathie, gee I feel like I should change my name...

But back to my progress... I haven't had any problems with sticking to my exercise or food plan, except this part about having to eat more every time I add a little to my exercise routine. That still doesn't sit right in my mind. I add more exercise to help get in shape and lose more, but I have to eat more???

But I'm being a good little girl and managing to get the calories in. As they say, the proof is in the pudding (still don't know what that means), so we'll see how my weigh-in goes on Sunday.

Hi,
I am doing pretty good. Learning sooooooo much with the quizes and trivia, those are my favorites. Down a size, and feeling much better. Blood pressure is down after years and years of high blood pressure.

I joined Spark Coach and that is a big help. Had a few nights of going back to old habits, but hopefully am over that. All and all this program is working for me and am very happy.

emoticon Happy 1 Month Sparkiversary!!!

We've all been here one month! How are you doing? Are you active on teams? Are you measuring and tracking your foods? Are you exercising? Do you feel better? Do you need some help?

I recognize several of you on some of my teams! It's good to see you there and get to know you better! It's great to be losing weight with you!!!

For me, it's taken all month to get into the habit of new routines. Getting back into the swing of exercise was pretty simple. Getting out of the habit of eating in the evening wasn't so easy for me but I've finally found something that triggered a spark in my head. Woohoo!!!! That's all it takes isn't it? Just one little spark to get the fire roaring and we're off to new and better habits!

I'd love to hear from my classmates. What's working for you and even from those of you who are struggling. Let's help one another figure this journey out. That's what Spark is all about!
