I got the om-nom-noms today, as a result of the sugar cookie, I think.
I'm not going to let it stop me, but sort of disappointed in myself... I knew I shouldn't have eaten the bear claw, but I did it anyway...

A fine day, thanks : ) Spent about two and a half hours finishing clearing the rink. I'm so pleased about that! The temperature went from -16ēC this morning to + 5 or so by mid-afternoon. Given the red sky and warm breeze at dusk, I'd say this cold snap is over : )

I had a pretty good day today!
1.5 mile walk.
40 minutes of walk/jog intervals instead of 25!
And I went out on errands and made it to the post office for new stamps and the library.
And I got to see my friend's mom, who is a complete sweetheart, for a little while.
And other than a couple of sugar cookies, I've eaten very healthily today.
And the cookies fit into my calories!

A fine day today! Our coldest day yet at -25ēC or so this morning. Warm enough this afternoon that I could put in another couple of hours on the rink--I've now cleared two-thirds of the Big People rink. If tomorrow's like today I'll be able to finish the *whole* thing : )

Good job on all your accomplishments today, Jules. Your pot pie sounds delicious!

Today I went for a 4.5 mile walk, did Day 4 of the Bootcamp Dvd, and made Chicken Pot Pie!

Looking good! I didn't sleep in but got up to totally clear skies with brilliant stars all over the heavens--almost better than waking to sunrise : ) Now the sun is just lighting the tops of the hills to the west, and the first birds are checking out the feeding stations. In about half an hour, there'll be about 50 Red Polls, 15 or 20 Grosbeaks, innumerable Chickadees, a downy woodpecker all enjoying the goodies, plus a squirrel dashing around the deck trying to keep all the seeds for herself!

So far, so good : ) Slept in a *lot*, spent a leisurely morning reading and watching the dozens of birds at the feeding stations and laughing at the squirrel that spent most of her eating time chasing birds away. Best eat soon or I won't be able to call it 'breakfast' : )

I had an unmotivated morning but got with it this evening.
A 3 mile walk, Bootcamp Day One, and a yoga routine that was heavy on the lunges!

My day is going great so far! I had a good workout, I've eaten healthy all day, had a great walk with my dogs and I've already met my water goal! Looking forward to a nice evening as well with a healthy dinner and then off to my son's martial arts class! I hope everyone else is having a great day too!

Got in a 3 mile walk.
Got in all 8 glasses of water.
Wrote all my Thank You Notes.

It's a GREAT day here! I've had an hour on the stationary bike + just over 10,000 walking steps so far. The laundry is in the dryer. All the weekly tasks for my Spark team I lead are done. The rest of the day is mine!

I realized at 9:00 last night that I hadn't done my January Jumpstart video - I had no problem doing it (it was only 12 minutes long). Big step for me - we ate at Fuddruckers for lunch. I put all the nutritional information into my handy dandy SparkPeople calorie counter and realized I had gone over my caloric limit (it's amazing how many calories in that burger and bun). I didn't beat myself up - just drank lots of water to flush my system and am starting over this morning.

I did some late night exercise last night - didn't want to but felt I should. It blocked off one of my many excuses...the 'it's too late to do it now' one, and I did 20 minutes rather than 5. this morning I noticed that I wasn't dreading exercise today...so progress!

Today, I've gotten my walking in this morning ... met my 10,000 steps and moved past it. My Fitbit just alerted me that I'm 4,000 steps over!! Woohoo!!!! It's going to be laundry day here for a while, but the good news is that I did the cooking that I normally do on Saturday yesterday, so more time to exercise today!

A mixed couple of days, but yesterday, I went out with friends, and instead of having a starter and main course...had one starter (as a starter) and then a small starter as main course.

I did OK today, although snacked on some nuts and stuff which weren't 'on plan' but am still within my daily points allowance.

It's been another hectic day, with family coming and going and generally preparing for tomorrow. I was pleased that I haven't put any weight on this week, but as always a tad disappointed I hadn't lost any.

Things feel like they are quietening down this evening ... finally and really looking forward to tomorrow. Over the past few years, I've been a very driven workaholic, so come Christmas I've always felt too exhausted to really appreciate it. This Christmas I'm in a much better place and looking forward to spending time with friends and family.

I'm doing a lot better. I had a mild stomach flu all weekend. No exercising, no healthy foods (although that is more due to visiting my fiance's grandma than anything), but also no holiday overeating. Silver lining to feeling crummy for 3 days. Still not 100% today, but I feel better than I have since Thursday night.

Starting the day with exercise, then church and a last run to the store. I thought I had it all, but a little list has started to develop, so hopefully today will be better than tomorrow. LOL!!!!
