Thanks for the encouragement! It really makes a difference!!!!!

I've started walking the inside perimeter of our fenced yard area - hopefully bears, cougars, deer, dogs, etc. are on the outside! It's more like hiking than walking. Plus I'm increasing my time on the elliptical. And measuring my food!

I'm beginning to feel the changes to my body. Inches, not so much pounds (2 so far), but the improvement in the way I'm feeling tells me I'm on my way!

You can do it!

I find yoga helps with all my sore body parts, hips, neck, back and shoulders. I also choose stationary cycling as it seems to help overall soreness and of course walking the dogs daily..

You have a ton of determination and that's alone will make you succeed!!!

I AM gonna do it. . . . for some reason it just ain't happening the way I want it to . . . but I'm not giving up.

Every time I start something new on my fitness routine, my neck/shoulder/back/hip gets messed up. So, back to the chiropractor on Wednesday. . . .

I am making better food choices. And measuring/tracking again . . .

It will happen.

I'm still here. I'm so thankful for my chiropractor . . . my back is so much better. But I'm scared I'll mess up my back again if I start a 'real' exercise program again.

I'm still doing stretches, etc. and keeping very active . . . . like yesterday and today I was outdoors working in the woods, dragging brush, stacking tree branches, etc. for several hours each day.

Maybe I'll make an outdoor obstacle course . . . hmmmmm

Major set back. Back is out again . . . . Wish I knew what it is that I do that causes this.....
Another appt scheduled for Friday.

But, I am learning so much about nutrition on SparkCoach. I've set a goal of making at least one new recipe each week.

So far as weight loss, the 10 pounds may not come off right away, but I'm preparing myself for the long run . . . and it will happen. Sooner or later.

I've got the rest of my life . . . and I'm not in a rush.

My chiropractor fixed me up yesterday (don't know why I wait so long!). Have to go back on Friday. I should be feeling good enough to start with some low-impact stuff today..... but I am not going to push it. In times like this, I have learned that to move fast, ya have to start slow.

Otherwise, I've been staying on plan. Looking forward to feeling better again.

Well, I spent a lot of time defragging my brain this weekend . . .

I updated my SparkPage and set new goals in place . . .

and I'm charged and ready to go..... matter of fact, I'm already ON it!

Today I started with some weights and Bowflex
then planned to start with 10 minutes on the elliptical . . .
Then I decided I'd make a phone call at the same time.
I got so busy talking and making plans
and I ended up with more than 15 minutes!!!
