I have to have the treadmill, I need that constant feed of numbers to keep me going..and motivated, I am the very opposite, running outside and being able to think about way too much and not focus on my running makes me really bored and I can't stick with it. I guess we are all very different but that's what makes us all awesome!

If at all possible I try to run outside. I really dislike the treadmill! I get so bored so fast. I even put in a tv above it to watch shows but I still fizzle out much quicker than if I'm outside. That said, I live in WI and we get some awful bitter cold as well as icy days. So I suck it up and do treadmill then. But with proper gear, you can get out there even if its chilly out. The treadmill is a nice back up option though :)
I just started the Couch 2 5k this week. I really struggled with it so I'm repeating week one next week to feel better about it. I did it on the treadmill this week (2x at the gym and once at home, I'm way slower on mine at home. It's a 500.00 one instead of like the gym has that are 2500.00) but it's been so rainy and stormy here I couldn't do it out side.
I have the C25k app on my phone and a podcast on my ipod. I can't wait to use them outside! Good luck with it.
