Hello, I am the same that I am mostly walking for now. I have the book Run Your Butt Off which so far I really like. It has a running schedule and program where you start out walking for thirty minutes then the next step up is running for a minute walking for four and it continues to go up. I have also heard good things about the program couch to 5k.

I am Patricia I live in St. Louis, MO. Running is new for me, more of a walker. I hope to pick up tips/notes from others that will keep me running beyond the pain of it.
