I haven't had the pain again since I posted. But I am paying attention to see if it occurs again at the same point in my menstrual cycle. I should have an idea next week.

I've had a lot of different pains when running, but never one like this. I'd be very interested in knowing what your doctor says. Hope you feel better soon!

The last two times I've been out running I've noticed pain in my lower abdomen. Specifically, my uterus. It starts about 2/3 of the way into the run (2-3 miles total so around mile 2) and it stops about 15 minutes after I stop running. It isn't gas and it is nothing that causes me to go to the bathroom when I finish running. It can be pretty painful. It isn't something I experienced the first week I was running, but I've only been running about 2 weeks now anyway. I've never had this type of pain with any of the exercise that I've done.

I googled it and saw a lot of theories: dehydration, gas, improper breathing or form, or maybe it is related to my menstural cycle. Has anyone else had this? I am going to map out my symptoms and keep a log of what is going on so that I can mention it to my doctor. Right now I am not sure what the pattern is.
