I don't have set days that I run. I usually go every other day or every third day depending on how my legs feel. I'm up to about 2.5 miles. The other days I try to do some sort of ST, with one day that is completely off. I've been running for about 3 months.
Hello, I'm new to running too, and looking forward to reading the replies to this question. When I first started run/walking a couple of months ago I went every morning before breakfast. But now I'm running non stop and going further (4 miles) I go Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. I wonder if I should be doing more. I do strength training Mon, Wed & Fri. I think it depends how far/long you run, if you should rest your muscles for a day or more before running again. Good luck with your schedule!
