I have recently picked up running and when I began I really hated it. I would make myself run for at least 10 minutes and I didn't even care how fast I ran as long as I did it for 10 minutes. I then got better at it and bumped my time up to 15 minutes and am now currently at 20 minutes and am running 8 minutes per mile (which is a huge improvement for me), but recently I have lost my motivation. I find myself getting really bored and am constantly looking at the timer to see how long I have left. Any advice for getting motivated again?
