It was windy and cool where I am so the run today felt great. I don't know how far I went but I made it through four songs without returning to a walk. I know, it isn't much but for me it is the beginning. And after one songs rest I ran for two more, well, jogged, but I'm getting there.

I ran a half a mile! On my 1 mile training route, I did 1 block on, 1 block off, and made it ALL THE WAY to the end! Woohoo!

I've been sick and stopped training for 3 weeks but I ran 2.25 miles this morning and picked up right where I left off 3 weeks ago! I'm amazed! Didn't think I could do it and was planning on scaling back before I went out.

I did 1.5 miles alternating 1/8 mile running and 1/8 mile walking. I wanted to do 1/4 mile intervals but was sluggish and heavy. The first interval I was DYING so I adjusted. I think I went out too soon after dinner. Lesson learned!
