Can't believe today is the last day of February. Even though it is such a short month, I just never expect it to be over as soon as it is! I can't say that I met my pushup/sit up goal since I kinda fizzled at the end there, but I did pack on some good fitness minutes, lost 8 1/2 pounds and had some nice long walks outdoors (my happy place)
Today I plan to run like a crazy woman (70 minutes with sprints) ...yay?

aww Boo for pain! No more hurting Ashley!!!
Slept on my dang shoulder wrong. It's a pinching sort of deal. Me no likey. Going to do some sort of fitness today. Not sure what. I have 35 push ups and 120 crunches till I hit my goal for the month. I quite possibly will finish them today. Been up since 4:45 am. I had to drive my son to drill early this month. They are going somewhere far this time so they had to be there at 6. So I am getting sleepy.
Still wishing for Spring. lol

Today I have to seriously book. I have a birthday party to attend after work, but due to my lack of planning I will get my gym time in, race to Target and get a card/gift, shower, and then try not to get a speeding ticket to the pub. Oy it's going to be a close one!

51p, 102c, and 3.3 mile run. I have a blister on my foot the size of a silver dollar. Running on it sucks. I know what you mean about the winter blues, I feel it too. I hope we can get past it soon. Have a great night :-)

Good thing I decided against the zoo. It was Arctic yesterday! Holy Bajeezers!
Hoping to get some fitness in today. I have the time. I had the time yesterday. I am lazy lazy lazy lately. I can't seem to bring myself to do it. Mild depression maybe? Winter blues? Idk. Life is decent. I feel happy enough but I am so sluggish and stubbornly glued to the dang couch. I am COLD. This winter crap needs to end.

Last night 30 pu, 60 crunches. (80 pu till goal 240 crunches to goal)
My workouts have not been stellar lately but my eating has been so I am still losing. I know that every thing cycles. My workouts will kick into high gear again. Hopefully sooner rather than later. Keeping on track with fitness goals though and that is more important to me. I would rather be making positive choices, even small ones, to stay fit then to only do killer workouts. I burn out too easy. Slow and steady wins the race right? :)
I am off to start my day. I wanted to hit the zoo but I think it is supposed to rain. Bummer.

I want to do the color run SO BADLY! Good for you. I have my eye on a few races this year but money got super tight recently. I will see what I can come up with!
I just finished. 60 sec jogging in place + 10 push ups + 20 crunches X 5 for ten minutes of calisthenic type exercise
My official push up count is 90- (110 left to goal) crunches 200 (300 left to goal)
Headed to the gym in a few minutes. I need to get some mileage in. On top of my own long term goals I have monthly mini goals (this month it is 200 push ups/ 500 crunches- tracking cals at least 3 days a week and spray painting 4 chairs) AND I am also doing a challenge that requires me to walk/run/ or jog 1000 fitness only miles in 2013. I am behind. lol By a lot. Gotta kick it in gear!
Spring cannot come fast enough!!!

I did a tremendously difficult workout yesterday. Bob Harper is hot and he seems sweet but it is all a lie. He is Satan's brother. lol It was a short (he says 10 min but the counter on the screen says 14:30) workout that is meant to be intense. I almost THREW UP! Like for real had to breathe deep ...almost tossed them cookies..Then I did an easy 30 aerobic workout..which was made slightly difficult by the fact I nearly died just before I started. lol
Gonna start on my push ups and crunches today.

Oh thank you for that! I need to remind myself that this is my vacation too! In fact, I should remind my parents of that fact too! I'm working on that itinerary...
You always make me laugh when you describe just how much food you eat when overindulging. I have been going a little nutso with the candy an the butter and the cheese myself. Just a lot of food period. I have a hard time saying no lately. I think it's the stress. We will beat this though. I know it! You are really brave to give up fast food for a whole week! Some days I just get so tired of cooking and it's nice to know there's a backup. But hey, since you are doing this, I might as well jump on board too...with gusto! I think I can....I think I can!!!!
I think those are great numbers to start out with! I just add one every day (it adds up fast). Today I did 43 pushups and 86 crunches! Woohoo!

Ashley, I have been thinking about it and I like this idea of a numerical goal for an exercise. I have done it before and you have inspired me to do it again. Mini goals seems to work well for me. I am gonna hop onto your band wagon. For this month I want to do 200 push-ups and 500 crunches. Next month (when I have more time because I will start at the beginning and not the middle, lol, I will have higher numbers)
I am also on a mine-challenge with a gf of mine. No fast food for a week-nothing not even a soft drink or coffee from a fast food place. That should be easy enough. Should. lol
Carriefession-been eating too much sugar again. Damn evil sparkly goodness. :P

I am sorry your Mom is being poopy. :( The lesson I see here is "Don't plan your life( or vacation) around anyone but yourself" It is your vacation too. Take it, enjoy it, do what you like. If she is determined to be miserable it is out of your hands. It is her life, she can do with it what she likes. Don't let her or anyone spoil your fun. You work damn hard and you have earned it! :)

In other news, I ate like a 5000 lb side show act this weekend. lol Much of it was due to crazy busyness. The rest was because I could reach the food and therefore put it into my face...and onto my ass. :P We had a great weekend though. We spent it with my Honey's fam. Saturday we went to his sisters and Sunday we spent the entire day with his parents. His kids and I played Rummy for hours with his mom. We were laughing and giggling like idiots the whole time. Looking back-none of it was funny. lol But at the time it was. Good stuff!!

So I'm a total slouch. I did not do my pushups or crunches yesterday! So today I have to do yesterdays and todays!!!!!
I was just way tired and lazy after visiting the gym. Plus I'm stressed and saddened by my parents right now. I am planning a vacation in May and I want to visit family on the west coast. I have a passport but neither of my parents do. So I did all the grunt work with the forms for them and my mom has decided that she is going to be ungrateful and uncooperative. She told me yesterday that she doesn't want to go. I am planning this whole trip around her and what she would like to do since she hasn't had a vacation for 5 years and seriously needs one. She is pulling the victim card on me and I just want to scream!

Today along with yesterday's pushups and crunches, I have a 60 minute run, 39 pushups, and 78 crunches.

I know just what you mean about starting off in the middle of the day. You just can't get much done! Fortunately, I don't eat that way anymore. Though last night was my oldest nephew's b-day...so I had a couple brownies followed by a bowl of vanilla icecream! Yeah, my weigh in has me at .5lbs more than last week...
Today is 65 min on the elliptical, but I decided that I might be bored with it so I just might cycle it today. 38 pushups (man these are getting tough!) 76 crunches

Yeah...a whole thing of frosting. Icky poo poo..lol Candy is my arch nemesis. I can still eat gobs of it though. I usually don't, lol, but I am not out of danger of binging on it. Cookies too..they are a tough one..i could eat 20 of them..probably still could but boy would I be pissed at myself...lol So I don't :P
Did a short workout just now. My plan is to do another short one later after I am done working. I have left over roast so I don't have to cook. For the record I detest starting work in the afternoon. I am a get up and get it done kind of girl. Ruins my whole day when I have to start in the middle of it. :(

I was thinking about what I used to eat because yesterday I ate way too many chips for my own good....I actually used to feast on an entire container of chocolate fudge frosting. Yuck! I can't believe the lengths I went to in order to get my sugar fix! Blech.
Today I run for 50 minutes, do 35 pushups, and 70 crunches.

I took the liberty of making a Feb board. I hope no one minds!
Hopefully all of us Duckies are dandy. I am doing pretty good. I am still not 100% better from my illness. It is hanging on for dear life. However I am fully operational now. Hard workouts and everything. The illness that clings to me is more of an annoyance than a hinderance. (If hinderance is not a word- it is now lol)
Currently I am 2.4 pounds away from the low I got back in September. LOL Oh the things we do to ourselves. Then I can start actually losing again because I don't consider taking off weight I regained as losing lol. Oy.
Not sure what is on the menu today. I may exercise or I may not. We shall see. I do know that I am sick and freaking tired of this nasty cold weather. That rodent had better be correct!
