I hear ya Kelly! I am thinking that no matter what, with hard work of weight loss and muscle building it will at least look smaller and better :)

So glad this question was asked.....I had an emergency c-section as well and really don't like the tummy area right above my scar. I know I haven't fully developed my tummy muscles back so I'm working on that, but I really hope it goes away.

The way I look at it is, I don't care so much about the "flap" as long as the "flap" or pooch in my case gets smaller ;)

I had 2 vaginal births, but I am also blessed with the "mommy flap." I hate it, so I hope it does eventually go away!

I had an emergency csection as well but I had the "mommy flap" already from my first child who was born vaginally. I hope we can get rid of it but it could just depend on our bodies.

Hmm I don't know how helpful I can be as I did no have csection either time but I do have the mommy flap as I have heard it called lol many people say it is possible to get rid of but is very hard to do and when loosing weight thats usually the last place that you loose it I would just continue to workout and add in some extra toning for your core good luck :)

Awww well I guess we will just have to keep working on it and believing it will go away! No matter what I am going to build my stomach muscles back up and lose the fat around them...no matter what it takes! emoticon

I am with you. I have an up and down scar and one that is low and it looks like I have a butt in the front. I have not been able to get rid of mine unfortunately. My dad swears with hard work it will shrink but I am not so sure. Sorry I don't have better news.

I had to have an emergency c section and unfortunately am left with this awful chunk of flab that hangs over my scar. I have been told that it won't go away, even with hard work :( I have always carried most of my weight in my stomach but with hard work and watching what I ate I was able to get almost ;) a flat stomach....wondering if anyone out there has been able to get rid of, or at least make smaller that "c section pooch"?
